Question The grey rubber came off.

So this grey rubber for the circle pad on my 3DS came off all of a sudden. I was wondering to those who managed to get the extra pad and put it on the circle pad, does the extra pad ever come off very often or does it hold still?

Like this?

Use a very small dab of super glue to reattach it. test it out a random surface to make sure the glue doesn't bubble up (Gorilla glue is a big nono for this). only a small amount should do it.

for me, i bought a Circle Pad Pro XL [For the xl] and took out the whole thing and replaced them on both.
which means right now, on my xl , i have a legit brand new Circle pad and on the CPP i have a one where the pad is on with glue.

Does Nintendo not provide repair service for this issue? Also does the extra pad also come out very easily to those who have bought them? I tried glue but that didn't work and when I tired using tape, it worked really well and it remained as I want it. Only problem is that it remains unnatural to me atleast.

My circle pad broke in two and they repaired it for me for free.

They also gave me a 1 year warranty on that in case it happens again.

But I live in the US. Not sure if they will do the same in your part of the world.

mines starting to come loose, the right side is loose but the left is still as it should be

ive tested some super glue on some paper if it ever does come off and i need to glue it back, should any kind of super glue work as long as it doesnt make bubbles when drying?

This happened to me with my OG 3DS before I upgraded to the XL.

The only thing you can do is either see if Nintendo will replace it (Provided it's under warranty or they take pity on you), or try your luck with super glue. I tried gluing mine, but it kept coming off every week or so. :/
