Default 3ds spring doesn't vibrate

I noticed that the spring on my 3ds card slot won't vibrate as full force as it used to when I take my game card out so is that either a good or a bad thing?

You shouldn't be so paranoid all the time, its just stuff things age and get older its probably because you use it a lot so naturally the sides of the slot will become worn and used to the friction of the cartridge but its nothing it just means the system is aging.

I'm just worried that ever since i've accidently pulled the cart instead of pushing it to remove it, I feel like the spring would have broken and at anytime, the game card will pop out of the system like that for no reason without me even touching it.....and this keeps boggling my mind. Atleast if I know how the game card slot works and what are the inside parts of the slot, then fine but no, I can't even know that as well.......

Pulling out a cartridge one time shouldn't break the spring. It'll just remain in its "down state" until you put a cartridge back in and pop it out the correct way. If anything, I would think that'd be worst for the cartridge than for the slot.

I've had my XL for well over a year now and I don't notice any vibrations when I eject a cartridge, so I assume it's just from age and the spring might've gotten little weaker after enough use. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
