Default Hot to make a back up ;)

hey folks

is there any way to back up your "log activities" like how many games i have played for how long etc. is it stored on sd card ? I was simply wondering if i can retain my personal info from my console if it brake or something.

thanks

Technically, yes its all saved to the SD Card. The problem is, if your handheld breaks then you wont be able to do the System Transfer unless you can get Nintendo to do it. It sucks, is dumb and all that.

Just take a pic of the screen or something. THAT personal info really doesn't matter much, IMO anyway...

No, because that SD card is "mated" to your console, so its not plug and play between pieces of hardware unfortunately.

Good topic. I haven't backupped my SD Card in ages.
It's all fun and games until it goes wrong, quite literally.
When I first got my 3DS I monthly copied the SD to a USB Drive. That's about all you can backup.
I'm not sure wether such data you mentioned is stored on SD and because of that backuppable.
I think that feature works without a SD Card present. But I'm not sure.
