I know I do. What about everyone else?

If not, then why?

What's there to feel guilty about? If I would rather be doing something else, I'd just do it.

I don't even play videogames enough to have this concern.

Maybe it was the way I was raised. My mom would always yell at me to go outside and play if I had been playing video games for too long.

I was probably just seen as a lost cause from the start.

It's never nice outside.

Beware the glowing orb of pain that our planet orbits.

I mostly play video games at night so that isn't a problem. I used to occasionally play video games on summer mornings but I always felt pretty bad about wasting my morning.

No.

If I want to do it, I want to do it.

Not really. Unless I have a specific purpose in mind, playing videogames is preferable to aimlessly going outside.

Well it wouldn't be aimless. Something like walking in the park, going for a run, playing golf, etc.

Last Week I was in Florida, and despite copious amounts of sunblock I developed a very severe sunburn. In the first stage my skin swelled and thickened which restricted my range of motion. The second stage it completely bubbled, so that i could wipe it dry but if someone gave me a pat in the back then pus would squirt all over the place. The third stage I effectively moulted, like the worst case of dandruff ever.

Needless to say I'm avoiding the sun when possible.

I combine the two. I take my 3DS with me outside, sprawl out on the grass and game all afternoon.

This was last weekend:

Gaming outside under the sun is pretty much the best thing ever. I save a lot of my regular console playing for night.

I don't like constantly playing video games and feel bad when I waste an entire day doing so

I just open a door/window and let the outside air flow forth.

I play games a lot, sure, but I'm out and about fairly often too. It evens out in the long run, I think. :T

When I lived in Greece I had this feeling every now and then. When the weather was nice I usually couldn't play at all.
Now in Germany... .....I want my hot summers back.....

Basically, I just do what I feel like to do at any time. I don't think I ever feel guilty about it. Usually though, if I'm playing and someone wants to go for a walk/coffee or whatever I'll say yes. I like gaming, but given the chance I will go out. And if I haven't been out for a couple days I'll plan an outing with friends myself.

I was writing code before writing this and I tried to finish my first sentence with a semi-colon; XD

Well, I have three jobs this summer which consist of programming stuff on a computer. No matter how nice it is outside, I work. It's kinda like working at a store or something, as you do it inside.

However, my weekends are usually free. Anything could happen during those times. I could go out or stay inside. No shame whatever I do.

Also, I go to the gym three times a week.

I don't feel guilty.
But I do have an unwritten rule to never let gaming or internet keep me inside when I could be outside. I work indoors, in the dark all day. So I enjoy being outside.
I see it all the time at home. Staying inside because outside the sun overpowers the 3DS or iPad when playing a game. Or even worse, staying inside because the sun overpowers facebook -_-'
I'd prefer to sit outside, in the garden, chillaxing. And don't forget, the original GameBoy up to the GBA can be played out in the sun ^_^
So get out those classics and play outside!

Personally, me being a dude and all... I dislike the outdoors. Like, considerably...

Seriously though, I'm like allergic to the sun....

Nope, not in the slightest.
I feel guilty NOT playing Video Games when it's raining out side.
I hate the sunshine. (Winter > Summer)

I don't really let video games keep me inside TOO much.

When I was in middle school me and my brother were playing FFVII and our friends would come over and watch and stuff and my dad got so fed up with us always being inside and yelled at us to go outside. So the next day before he came home from work my brother literally took our TV and playstation out on the lawn with extension cords through the window and sat there playing it in the sun. I think my dad just laughed when he got home lol.

What is this "outside" you speak of? All I know that there is shining rays of light that melt and burn me and the non-polluted air that gives me lung cancer.

There's no need to feel guilty about staying inside and enjoying a good game, I normally just open the blinds and open all the windows. Fresh air, great light, warm weather, and a great game. What more could a person want?

I do triathlon, i'm pretty much training outside 25 hours a week, the only days i'm inside is when its terrible hot and the sun shines because that bastard just makes my life misserable.

It's a good day to game when its hot and sunny outside :P

But it depends tho.

If i would have played a lot inside the last few days / weeks, then i would get kinda guilty as somehow i feel like i'm wasting my time doing absolute nothing.

But when i'm on a break or on a rest day or just to fill in a hour or two on a day, then i have no isseu's with it at all mentally.

I get super bad allergies and I burn very very easily, so no, I feel guilty for being outside more than I do for not being outside because I know that its going to take hours to get back to not sneezing if I do
