Default about 3ds eshop?

I just want to know a few questions about the eshop in general.

1. How does Nintendo make profit through eshop games since they are digital?

2. I've seen these 3ds code generators and WHILE I KNOW THE FACT THAT ITS STILL ILLEGAL REGARDLESS, How do these code generators affect the business for Nintendo?

3. Is it true that you can only use one prepaid card for only one system account assuming that every prepaid card is different on its own?

1. arent eshop downloads ?5 more expensive than the retail version?
if its the same price they dont have to pay for production/packaging of the retail version, and then they wont have to pay for shipping

2. probably makes a loss

3. prepaid cards can only be used once, but the eshop accounts for wii u and 3ds have been tied since the introduction of nnid, so if you add ?15 on 3ds eshop, ?15 is also added on the wii u providing they are the same nnid

3ds code generators are fake and probably, contain a virus (for your computer) somewhere on them.

This is 100% correct. The way that the code redemptions work is that the code on the card itself isn't "live" until Nintendo is "told" (akak when somebody has paid money for it) that the card has sold, so these generators may produce "valid" codes, but they will almost always fail unless you have the live card in your possession (which makes absolutely no since seeing as you could redeem it that way already). As they say, there is no such thing as a free lunch.
