So I've been searching all week but I am having so much trouble choosing which to buy.
My goal is to get a white based Limited Editon 3DS XL for less than $350 with little to no marks that will impress people AND myself pretty much lol So far I've found these: Pikachu LE (Lightly Used) - $310 - So honestly I am not the biggest Pikachu fan. Especially the camera nipples. but it is really cute and if anything it's one of the most popular (and rare) Animal Crossing (Lightly Used) - $270 - I really want to go for this honestly but I can't find a new one for 300 or less. It's almost painfully to find for a decent price and I found this that has minimal wear. Should I go for it? It doesn't include the game. I really want to get into this series and the design is really cute! Black/Gold Zelda (New) - $270 - Almost for the same reason for the Pikachu one, I'm not the biggest Zelda fan yet, but it looks super cool. AND it's new. The game itself however I'm not exactly crazy about... it's alright. Mickey White/Gold (New) - $200 - Personally this 3DS XL is so beautiful. Part of me really feels like I should get it NOW while it's still cheap(er). Is the game any good though? I'm not a big fan of how the game logo is on the 3DS because I don't want to be showing off a cool console that has the logo of a lame game. And I've heard that it's possible the paint/finish could scratch off easily.. Yoshi (New) - $200 - To be honest I'm not too fond of this design. I feel like this will be my back-up; getting it for the sake of it being LE Which version would you get? For now I'd say I'm having the hardest time choosing between getting the Mickey or Animal Crossing one. |

I'm a 22 year old male, but I got the pikachu edition for $160 at target when It came out. I've got chuckles and questions from friends, but none of them have made fun of me for it. I'd get a $200 one unless you feel you REALLY need a $300+ one. After all you'll probably be immersed in games most the time, not looking at the console. At some point you have ask yourself if your getting a console to play awesome Nintendo games, or to "impress" people. Most of us have seen all the versions, and I don't think too many people will care or be impressed with which one you have... unless it's one of the pokemon tournament editions (only 2 made) or something along those lines : ![]()

I'd go with the Animal Crossing 3DS since you're really interested in the series, and the neat, limited edition design is worth the extra money in my opinion . The Disney 3DS is also a pretty good choice. It's the cheapest, although it doesn't come with the game (the game itself is really fun, kind of like Animal Crossing to an extent) and I'm not sure about the paint quality.

i'm a 25 year old male and last may, my mom visited china and got my a 3DS LL.
yes, she managed to find a store that has legit and real 3DS. so she got me this one: ![]() the mickey version. its so beautiful. plus it's white. mines in japanese, which is great for me. The game is very nice, worth it, its like animal crossing and harvest moon mixed together with mickey mouse and his friends. In my opinion, i think you should go for this one!

Paying more than $200 on the editions would be a waste IMO. I would just stick to the basic black, blue and red color (there is also a pink/white one).
