So apparently Nintendo will be offering 2 new transparent Nintendo 2DS models next month. They'll come in both red and blue and there will even be some bundles with ORAS. The base systems will launch on November 7th and the bundles on November 28th. No word yet on a release in NA but in the meantime you can stare at some hi-res pictures of the system.

Maybe it's my 90's nostalgia, but I absolutely love the look of these things.

I hope the younger generation grows to appreciate the beauty of translucent electronics as I have.

I'm almost tempted to get a 2DS. Unfortunately, I've still got a perfectly operational original 3DS from 2011 that seems to be in the exact same shape it was before.

I'm just imagining how incredibly comfortable Smash 3DS probably feels on a 2DS.

It'd probably be more comfortable on a 2DS, tbh.

With the New 3DS on it's way, I question why Nintendo is trying to make the sandwich DS relevant, since it's even more of a downgrade now than ever.

Neat, just think its strange how their still pushing 2DS sales even when the New 3DS is coming out soon.

That ORAS bundle looks pretty kick-tail, though.

This honestly is the one of the rare instances where I actually am a bit annoyed that I cannot justify buying a new 3DS (why replace what works fine?) because these, 3D-less and all, are probably my new favorite handheld in terms of aesthetics to join the 3DS family. It's like Nintendo is taunting me to spend more money. I'm already giving you $40 for smash and $80 for pokemon, give me a break!
