Default Anyone regret selling their DS?

I sold my 3ds at one point for a 2ds ( my 3ds hinge was too loose for my liking and it covered the full cost of the 2ds ), and then my 2ds as well...and I regret it immensely. So many games I want to play now.

Waiting for the new 3ds to launch in NA. And then have to call Nintendo Customer Care to unlink my Nintendo account...AGAIN sigh.

Oh well...anyone else go through something similar?

Also any thoughts on when the new 3ds will launch in NA?

This is why I never sell consoles or games.

NEVER sell a system just because 'there arent any good games out for it!' ...That will always change and you'll regret it.

Reason why. I never sell any if my consoles. I still own my first console (a NGC) to this day.

I thought this was a thread about people regretting selling their DS to buy a 3DS, which I didn't do, because I don't like selling consoles.

I wouldn't sell my 3DS, even for the New 3DS either. I just don't like selling consoles, specially because I know I will regret it at some point.

I understand selling in desperate times for money. What I don't understand is people who sell a console because of game droughts/or because they haven't used their console in awhile, but buy it all back again as soon as there's something they wanna play/or because they miss it.

I don't really ever sale anything. The only thing I ever did was Yoshi's Island DS. It was back long before I had a job and I really wanted Pokemon Diamond, and that combined with help from a friend got me Pokemon Diamond. I can't say that's a decision I regret, as I never much cared for Yoshi's Island DS.

But an entire system? I would never do that. I would regret it, and just end up losing a lot more money than I gained getting it back later.

Oh, tell me about it. I met a guy that used to have a PS3, sold it to get a 3DS, sold the 3DS to buy another PS3, got tired of it and sold it to get YET ANOTHER 3DS, and then sold that 3DS too, because there weren't enough games to play. Now he wants to buy another 3DS because of Smash Brothers, but he's going to wait until the New 3DS.

All of this buying and selling crap happened in the spawn of a year and a half.

I don't really understand people like that. I only sell a console + all the games and accessories with it if I'm 100% sure I don't care for it anymore. Like my 360, I sold it all and used the money to buy my Wii U and never regretted it. I think the last time I bought a game for it was back in 2009.
