Smile New To 3DS and looking for suggestions :D

Hello there everyone! I already posted a intro and decided to come on over here to this forum in hopes of getting some guidance when it comes to finding games! I will be getting my first 3DSXL here in a while and alreay have a few games set aside. :]

The games I will be getting later on today are:

1.Pokemon: Sapphire Blue
2.Fire Emblem: Awakening
3. Persona Q
4. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy
5. (Open To Suggestion)
6. (Open To Suggestion)

Now I prefer JRPGS, SRPGS, and any sort of game that has a social aspect to it. I played (still do) alot on the ps3 and xbox one so Ive always enjoyed playing with others. If anyone can guide me in the right direction when it comes to picking out new games I'd appreciate it

Sounds like you would enjoy Fantasy Life.

Here's the OT to read about it: http://3dsforums.com/showthread.php?t=52154

Treehouse at E3 is the best thing to watch if you want to know what it's like.

It has 4 player co-op.

I think that most people would agree that Bravely Default and Tales of the Abyss are the top 2 go-to JRPGs on the 3DS. You could also try looking up Shin Megami Tensei IV and Persona Q. I haven't played Persona Q yet, but SMTIV is a little different than your traditional JRPG. Tales of the Abyss and Bravely Default will probably offer a better sense of familiarity.

Unfortunately the 3DS doesn't have very many JRPGs to offer.

Edit: Persona Q is already on your list, my bad. That takes care of that then.

@Rich

Thanks for the recommendations! Yeah I've played all the games for the 'Tales' series so far except for the ones available on the 3DS so Ill totally be looking into those. Persona has always been a all time favorite. Doing my 2nd play thru of Golden on the vita at the moment :]

You're welcome! There is also Etrian Odyssey 4, which I honestly know nothing about, so you'll probably have to do some research for yourself to see what it has to offer. I've read good reviews but never actually had a chance to delve into the series.

More than willing to do some research! I'll probably look into all these tonight. I have heard great things about Bravery Default so I will download the demo tonight!

Etrian Odyssey is a old style rpg. You move around the maps 1 space at a time, drawing the map on the touchscreen as you go. As far as story goes, I haven't gotten that far into the game but your party of characters never speak/don't play a role at all. It's not a character driven game. Another game in the franchise, Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl, recently came out. I am going to assume it's more story driven because your party consists of characters that talk/have personalities. The game is still the same style of gameplay as EO4. I would recommend looking up some gameplay videos to see if you are interested.
