Default Need suggestions for new games

Looking for some must have games to own on the 3DS. I currently own Mario&Luigi Dream Team, Smash Bros, Super Mario 3D Land, OOT 3D, and MK7.

I think that we can all agree, that Fire Emblem and Bravely Default should be an autoinclude.
My further suggestions due to overall high ratings are Luigis Mansion, Zelda : A Link Between Worlds and maybe Donkey Kong Country Returns if you like platformers. It is the best platformer I ever played. Castlevania : Mirror of Fate could be also a good choice.

To add those mentioned it I'd say Pokemon X/Y & New Super Mario Bros 2
They're just as how you would expect them to be and better so you can't go wrong really. Out of the 2 I'd say Pokemon X/Y is the more MUST have.

Getting the more recent Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire may be a better idea. It's always good to be up to date on Pokemon games for more active online play. Why I didn't mention OR/AS before is because I was only speaking on games I've played.

In short; Pokemon is a great idea!

Super Mario Bros 2 is an avarage game only, its definitely not a must own / must have title. There are way better platformers out there and he said that he already have the 3D land. But yeah, I cant say that I didnt liked Super Mario Bros 2. It was ok.

Pokemon is all over the place when it comes to 3DS XL games and I agree that it can be a good title. However I cant see myself playing the game because
1.) Its not for adults
2.) Not interested in Pokemon world & franchise
3.) Have Ni No Kuni - Wrath of the White Witch on PS3 which is basicly a Pokemon game awarded almost everywhere with a 9/10 - 9.5/10 and I just couldnt get into it. Not for me.

Mario speaks for itself, but as long as Pokemon goes check out some reviews and gameplay videos on the internet before buying to make sure that the game fits you.

A lot of what you said is down to your personal preference and Trev (Trobsohc) didn't indicate his preferences so instead of giving mine I decided to give him a general idea of what's considered 'must have' from the 3DS games that I've played. I would've only excluded surprisingly bad games in this instance.

Generally speaking the games I mentioned are big names that are looked at with high regards so as far as giving a general scope on things I think my recommendations were good.

I suppose letting us know what type of games you prefer would've been a good idea Trev but it's all good! Just a note for next time around
