Default Data transfer 7 day wait requirment

A while back Nintendo took away the restriction of how many times you could preform a data transfer between 3DS systems. That was a good thing. But now after you do a data transfer there is a 7 day waiting period before you can do another one. Weird. Wonder why Nintendo requires you to wait 7 days between transfers. Silly.

I didn't know Nintendo took off the data transfer limit. That is a good thing.
The 7 day wait can be a bit troublesome. Since I use my 3DS on the go and the 3DSXL at home switching accounts is a great way to play some games on the XL (Fantasy Life).
However, it would take some planning. As it takes 7 days to transfer it back...
I guess they put the time limit on to save data transfer on their servers?

A new model of 3ds isn't going to be something you'll buy every week, and like Mactire said, it takes some planning before transferring.

I own both the OG 3DS and the XL. So sometimes I want to game on the smaller system but that holds me to that particular system for 7 days. It's stupid to have a 7 day waiting period.

It is rather inconvenient in your case, but if I were you, I'd just pick a system to use. Its not really worth the trouble to be transferring left and right, anyway. Just think of which system you'd rather take on the go, and what you'd rather play at home. Wherever you are more, it would probably make more sense to keep your stuff on that one system. I know it stinks but that's just how Nintendo designed it, most likely to ease use of transfer servers, like Mactire said.
