Default Played Any Good Mobile Games?

I've tried Puzzle and Dragons and Quiz RPG so far.

Puzzle and Dragons was decent but it was missing a few elements that I felt made it from being completely appealing. The complete lack of story being the major one for me. Even if it's very rudimentary such as "Rescue this Person", I like having the sense that there's an ultimate goal to what I'm doing.

Quiz RPG! is similar to PAD in that you explore dungeons with a team of monsters. However, instead of playing a shuffle game in order to attack you have to answer trivia questions. I personally like this one more than PAD.

It has a basic storyline. You're an apprentice wizard who has to save the world. The game allows you to choose certain categories so if you know nothing about sports you will be able to manage.

What are some good mobile games that you all have played?

I've played Puzzle & Dragon, Chain Chronicle, Monster Strike, and Terra Battle.

Terra Battle is the only one I play on a daily basis though because I don't think I can manage all of those games at once. It does have a story, but it's not one I found remotely engaging haha. The little character bios are interesting though.

Pretty much everything I play on iOS is a rhythm game. The one I play most often is Taiko no Tatsujin+, which is a really great version of Taiko. I'd much prefer being able to play with buttons, but there are are a few different control schemes you can choose from, and they work fine. With paid DLC, its total song count comes out to more than any other home Taiko game, and is getting closer and closer to reaching the number in the arcade unit. So it's cool having a ton of songs to play and being able to take that with me wherever. Other iOS rhythm games I dig are jubeat (jukebeat on the US store), Reflec Beat, and Groove Coaster. Groove Coaster isn't exactly the most involved rhythm game out there, but it probably offers more for free than any other rhythm game.

As far as Android games go, lots of ports. I highly, highly recommend the Sonic 1, 2 and CD ports. They're remade from the ground up and feature tons of options and even cut content. They're by far the best versions of the game out there. Other stuff I like playing on the go include ChuChu Rocket and STGs (namely Raiden Legacy and CAVE stuff like Dodonpachi and Deathsmiles). Oh, also osu! is always cool.

STGs are cool if you have no other means to play them. They're much easier I feel on mobile though due to controls

I've almost exclusively played generic rhythm games on my iPhone. And the last year I was in high school, basically everyone in my school was playing Words with Friends, so I did too. Beyond that, I have almost no experience with mobile games. I've played a couple decent puzzle games I think.

I second crossy road. Pretty much any mobile game I play is one where you
just have to tap. I am someone who really needs physical controls, which is why I can't wait for my new 3DS. Madden Mobile isn't bad either, if you're into that. I enjoyed that one for quite a while.

Love Live! School Idol Festival is a half-decent rhythm game despite being a weeaboo title.

Sine Mora and GLESDoom.
Most mobile games suck, don't see how game companies think this is the wave of the future? It's not, they're just lazy and think the rest of the world is Japan.

I tried Dragon Blaze recently since I thought its art looked decent...

There's a lot going on, and so far I'm really confused as to what I should be doing in this game as there isn't a lot of strategy going on so far. I can't say I'm liking it right now haha, especially since it's an autobattler.

Granted, it's on the eShop now, but Fairune on Android was a nice way to waste a couple hours. Super simple gameplay (like NES basic), but eh, good change of pace sometimes. Kind of reminded me of a really, really short version of Ys I&II a little.

So I've played quite a few games in the years and don't have time to go through my entire download history on my Apple account. However, I will post some of my recent plays and ones that have caught my attention. As I go through my collection and try new games, I'll slowly post again, recommending new things. For now, here's my personal favs so far from the most recent games.

Top favs (so far):

Infinity Blade most definitely was one of the early games to set a new standard in mobile game quality, especially with graphics. The game is pretty simple, you're a knight out to face a dark lord. The game starts you in front of a castle where you can choose paths to walk, which in turn leads you to different findings and enemies to face. You do this until you reach the final boss. You encounter him pretty quickly in the play, but the kicker is he's insanely OP on your first encounter. It's not impossible to kill him at that point but it's unlikely. Once you get your ass handed to you, the game puts you in the beginning as your dead knight's descendant, but you keep the stats/upgrades. The whole point then becomes how long does it take for you to actually kill the final villain, and tests how good you are without constant dying.

Do I even have to explain this one? It's basically Scribblenauts 2 for mobile. It's a good game and if you know Scribblenauts then it's that, plain and simple.

This one actually stole my life for awhile. The point of the game is simple: You own a tower, and your goal is to expand it and make it bigger. Each floor represents either rooms, a restaurant, and store, etc. It's your choice on how you think you should build your businesses and how to upgrade each one of them. You have to take things into consideration as well, like stocking food for restaurants, hiring workers, assigning comfort, etc. It's cute in art but can get really overwhelming if you're not applying logic. Super fun game with that tycoon style addiction.

Another quick play game that can steal your time. It's basically an endurance game to see how many monsters you can kill before you run out of health and how far you can advance. There are bosses in the game every so often though, and they are fixed, which means strategy can be applied. You use the coins you acquire to decide on health restoration, or upgrading armor/weapons. Fun but still requires a bit of thought on currency and power management to succeed.

A very artistic puzzler that is short but sweet. Similar to Journey on Sony's consoles, in terms of a very vague story with puzzles that aren't hard, but aren't "easy" either, which eventually leads into you better understanding the story.

This one isn't a game in the sense of the others, but boy is it addicting. Probably the best quiz app you could ever download. You choose a category that interests you, and believe me there's a crap load of categories and it's constantly increasing per popular category requests. Think you know your Pokemon games/series? There's a category for you. Think you know Harry Potter? It's there. Think you know cars? There. Disney? There. Pretty much impossible to not find a category that suits you. Twist to the app: It's a battle quiz game. You face off against other users in a 1v1 on who knows the most in a series of questions. Your points are based on accuracy and how long it took you to answer it. The more you play a category, the higher your level in it becomes. You can even earn badges and nicknames for categories to give your subname. So you can boast around things like "Pokemon Master", showing everyone else you know your stuff. Definitely one of my fav apps on the market.

QuizUp is definitely one I'm getting.

I like QuizRPG ok but it doesn't quite scratch the trivia itch.

I downloaded Quiz Up and it's definitely fun but the only issue is that some categories have very few people playing in them and I end up not being able to find someone to compete against.

I went up against literally the top ranked person in the world in the Animals category and almost won.

Finished Attack the Light.

If you like Steven Universe and/or the gameplay in Paper Mario this is the one to get.
