It's really good to learn the New 3DS can play Youtube 3D videos. That means for me some really cool fun watching 3D movie trailers! The part about the html5 that confuses me is both my browsers on my desktop are capable of html5, however it's Youtube that does not support 3D in html5 mode (as far as my desktop browsers are concerned) as is apparent when I try to watch a Youtube 3D video in Explorer or Chrome. Or at least in the way that it used to. When Youtube stopped supporting Flash, the 3D functions (options) disappeared when Youtube switched to html5. Maybe the New 3DS is capable of html5 3D video in a way my desktop browsers are not. Here's a list of 3D videos https://www.youtube.com/user/3D?feature=html5_3d They will play on my desktop however the menu has disappeared for options such as red/blue, cross eyed etc. In the case of the New 3DS, I'd be interested to know if the 3D videos in the above link will play and display in 3D. It probably does if you try it out. Still, I'd still like to have the options that used to be there (such as cross eye viewing) when I'm viewing it on my desktop. Even though this part is off topic, I'd really like my browsers to also support html5 3D modes (like it used to when Youtube supported Flash.) |

Thanks that helped! At least I was able to cross eye view some high quality 3D videos. On Youtube there was even the 3D menu for cross eye and others.
I can't wait to see those on the New 3DS XL without having to cross my eyes! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uU-argyMSdg The above link has some really high quality 3D. |
