This is a question for those living in the US. Can you guys please tell if you know or find out otherwise the current trade in value of the original Aqua Blue 3DS in particular at GameStop. It's a North American Model with the box, charger and all the instructions/paper work included. It's in pretty much mint condition and in working order. I'm interested in trading it in towards the New 3DS XL. Thanks for any help.

I don't think the 3ds itself is worth that much, but if you trade it in to get the new 3ds they give you $75 extra to use on the new 3ds. [X]

Thanks for that. I don't need to worry about transferring data as I already have a 3DS XL which is my current 3DS. It's the one I upgraded to from the original 3DS. So the original 3DS has pretty much been stored away in the cupboard. I just want to try to avoid accumulating 3DS's.

Whilst I would prefer to make a decent return on it and I know that model probably has a pretty decent demand I'm not sure if I can go through the hassle especially as the likely hood is that anyone wanting it will be in the US and I'm in the UK. My sister might be travelling to the U.S. although not until the end of March so I was thinking of sending the 3DS with her to trade in. I may end up holding on to it for now. I'm still looking at options.

I presume the special launch offer of extra trade in credit for the 3DS/3DS XL towards the New 3DS/3DS XL is over. If so what is the current trade in value of a 3DS XL towards a New 3DS XL currently at GameStop.

Yup the special offer for the New 3ds XL is over. But the trade in for the old 3ds XL is 70$ Trade in.
