Default Steel Diver

Well, when I bought my 3DS, I also purchased Steel Diver. I haven't played it yet. But, after watching some reviews, I'm not feeling too excited about it. Have you guys played it and what did y'all think?

Well, it's changed a bit regarding that the game is F2P, many enjoy the online aspects now too. It isn't a bad game at all, it's an interesting new IP from nintendo surely. It's also been supported and patched according to community demands.

The overall consensus for the game is that it is fun but also a little short. If you got it for cheap and you like what you have seen with the gameplay, however, it might be worth keeping and playing.

As for Steel Diver: Sub Wars which I have played, the game can be addicting although patience is definitely key with that game. The moment you get frustrated is the moment you've lost the battle

This game was a launch title in 2011. It is one of the few I still have.

The periscope shooting games are among the few FPS games out on the system - I really enjoyed them.

Try hunting subs underwater and beat my best time of 2 minutes, thirty seconds.

Thank you all for the responses. I'll give it a try sometime soon. Right now, I've been playing Smash Bros. and Lego Batman 3. The other game I purchased with my 3DS is Disney's 'Planes'. It's a fun little game, but perhaps a little too childish for my taste.

I'm 34 and Disney Planes is a fun little game haha. Do you have Fire and Rescue?

Anyways, I would be interested to see what you think of Steel Diver and the F2P Sub Wars.

It was not Fire and Rescue, Sorceror12. I guess mine predates that title. Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly does F2P mean? I'm new to these gaming acronyms.

P.S. I haven't found the time to play Steel Diver yet. I've been busy at work and trying to get through Lego Batman 3.

F2P= Free to Play, meaning the game can be downloaded for free but will only allow you to play certain modes (among other limitations) unless you pay real monies to unlock them.

The periscope game where rotating the system rotates the playing field (like looking through a real periscope) is still one of the more unique gaming experiences on 3DS. I would sit people down in a swivel chair and when they made small movements I would grab the chair and give it a good turn and they'd say "Wow!" There are actually three different games in that cartridge.

It was a good launch title I kept. The periscope shooting games are just plain fun.

You get the game for $2.99 now and worth ten times that.
