Taiko no Tatsujin on the other hand... I tried it once at a music game convention and didn't care much for it. Granted it was in a hotel lobby filled with current mixes of all my favorite Bemani games so I just didn't have the time to get into it. DJMAX Technika was the game I discovered there, went home and bought a Vita just for it. But yeah I'm hoping for some challenge here. Project Diva is cake. |

Nice! Thanks for clearing that up for me. It is getting a little confusing (especially with Miracle Girls Festival, which has Project Diva gameplay, just being announced). http://gematsu.com/2015/03/project-d...ed-for-ps-vita

project mirai's harder songs focus more on button switching than speed, relative to project diva's extreme songs. all in all i'd say it's easier, though.
still really fun nonetheless. i can very easily recommend them. i consider the tracklist stronger than that of any individual project diva game (largely due to the fact that the tracklist in the PM series is cumulative) |

I'm a huge Vocaloid/Hatsune Miku fan and I love Project Diva so I can't wait for this game to come out! I've actually known about the Japanese version for a while but I never expected it to come to the US so when I saw a display box for it in GameStop, I just stood there in awe, unable to believe what I was seeing. I was looking forward to it being released this month but according to this page, it looks like the release date's been pushed to December.

Diva easy?
Did you forget to change the difficulty to extreme? Or did you completely not even look at grabbing some edit mode songs? fun: or if you like button mashing to to speak: Which has had several other edits to try make it harder. Mirai is easier, but mechanics have potential of being harder. Mirai DX just announced some songs will have "ex-hard" or "extreme" on some of them. So Hyped. But yes I've had Mirai 2 for like.. 1.5 years or something http://www.twitch.tv/zedamex/c/3756640 And this was the hardest song in Mirai 2: But now that DX announced some songs will have a harder than hard difficulty I need to wait and see. Anyway I'll be live streaming it the day it comes out in Japan

![]() Anyway I picked up MiraiDX this week, so fun. I finally got a spotpass hit tonight (took 4 days) and got flooded with profile cards. It was pretty cool being able to share a tune I wrote this way. If anyone here wants to exchange cards I'm 0645-5810-5569 I must admit it's a little harder than I was expecting, particularly full comboing all the easy charts. It's more about not breaking concentration for 5 minutes than skill or technique. And why are the timing windows noticeably smaller in button mode? Switching the button colors to match Diva's layout helped massively, but it still feels unbalanced. |

I definitely think it is, based on my time with Mirai 2. There's a ton to the game, even outside of the rhythm game portion (which is pretty packed and has a real solid songlist imo). Lots of minigames and customization, and it's all pretty well-made. Only real complaint is, as mentioned earlier in the thread, it's easier than Project Diva, so people experienced with Miku games (or really pretty much any rhythm game) may find it a bit too easy. But I think the difficulty is still more than enjoyable.
