Default New Nintendo 3DS case

Perhaps it's a sliiy question, but are there cases for th eregular N3DS?
Here in Holland there are plenty of cases for the N3DSXL but not for the regular N3DS.
Every game store tells me to put it in a 3DSXL case, but that's to big in my bag.
I'd really like a Hori Hard Case made for the N3DS, that way it's protected and doesn't take up a lot of space in my bag.

I think it's odd that there are so few (read none) dedicated N3DS cases around.

It looks like Play-Asia has some standard sized New 3DS cases in stock. This black case is an example. It comes in a few other colors as well.

Looking at the other images in the listing, the example showing the system inside the case looks like a standard system instead of the XL. I double checked the XL listings (which are labeled LL since these items are from Japan), and those example images show the XL inside the cases. So it seems this particular case should match what you're looking for. Not fancy, but practical for travel!

Just run a search for "New 3DS case" and you'll see a bunch of results. Make sure to avoid the listing titles with LL in them.

Thanks HC, this is indeed what I am looking for.
It's odd that no such thing is available in Holland.

I did some more looking around on PlayAsia and they also carry the Hori Hard Case for the N3DS. This is my personal favourite ^_^
And they have the Hori screen protector for the N3DS.

I may have to move to Japan...

you can always use the regular 3DS cases since the size is pretty much the same to the N3DS

@KamisoriX, it doesn't fit. At least not in my Hori Hard Case for original 3DS.
Because I toss my 3DS in my bag during travel I want a hard case. Hori always has proven it's worth.
@Coltplay, that case/sleeve is amazing. If it were a hard case I'd order one!

Thanks I have one myself and I can tell you it really is quite protective! I always can understand the need of a hard case though =)

I have the waterfield (the one that Coltplay posted) for my 3DS XL but it doesn't fit everything I would like to so I'm planning to get the Padded Gear Pouch from waterfield for my New 3DS XL (I can't add links yet because I'm too new :P )
It is not specifically designed for the 3DS but it's big enough for the New console and for everything I would like to carry with it xD
A bit expensive but I couldn't find anything that would fit my needs :S

If you want to carry more that a handy case.
My 3DS is in my every day carry, so usually the system alone is enough. But it has to be protected, so I also take an extra 3 games with me. I used to take the AR cards and an extra stylus but those were never used.

I love the Waterfield cases though, the make fine producs.

The fact that I want a hard case comes from the issue of the lines on the touchscreen from the original 3DS. Made me a bit paranoid I guess. Sinve then I had the same hard cases for the XL and my Vita. Very effective, yet not as pretty as the Waterfields.
