Hi,
Is the New 3DS region locked? Can I buy games from America and Japan on a UK console? Cheers |

The New 3ds is region locked, a UK console will only play UK games

All versions of the 3DS are region-locked because the use the same OS. Something like a region-lock is enforced through software, not hardware.
