Hello Nintendo and Nintendo Fans,
I am not sure if this is the correct place to post this, so if it is not I would appreciate someone pointing me into the right direction. Sorry in advance.

So my main topic for discussion is the new Nintendo 3ds. Now I will first off start by saying how wonderfully improved the sound and 3d effects came out. They are by far superior to the older models and anything else out there. The visuals are stunning and pleasing to the eyes while being gentle enough to not be strenuous after prolonged periods of time. Thank you Nintendo on acing that one!

Now my issue I do have that I just want to put out there in hopes it gets heard and see if anyone else has had the same problem would be the location of the power button. I hope this thread can be heard and potentially help change the future of the DS consoles to be better suited for all players and fans in newer models to come.

My issue is that the power button is as of right now on the bottom right of the console. Now while at one point I see how this could have seemed like a good idea for the overall design it poses a problem. Many times I find it to accidentally hit on something while I am playing or when I put it down to rest for a minute. I find the layout of the older model where the power button was on the front facing side to be better and more convenient. This kept the button away from anything accidentally hitting it resulting in a power down and losing data and time put into a game.

I understand why this might not seem like a big deal to some but I, just like many other Nintendo Fans have a voice and opinion and would just like it to be heard for the potential change and growth of the Nintendo franchise.

Thank you kindly and opinions welcomed!

I agree. :/ Or they could have a firmware update that pressing it quickly doesn't close the software. So many hunts wasted on Monster Hunter.

It's really badly designed ):

It's never been a problem for me, but losing all those MH4 hunts sounds less than pleasant.

The thing is so tiny I can barely press it when I try to. I honestly don't see how people play these things without a game grip.
