Default Favorite game for the consoles you own?

hey look at me i'm inspiring discussion

Anyways, this is based on a GAF thread I saw the other day, but while I don't care in the slightest about their tastes and opinions, I care about yours! So share 'em! For every console and handheld you own, what's your favorite game you have for it? No strict rules or anything, if you really want you can choose ports, list add-ons with exclusive games, name two for one console if you can't decide, whatever! I just wanna know what sorta games y'all like.

Genesis: Gunstar Heroes
SNES: Super Metroid
Sega CD: Panic!
Saturn: Vampire Savior
PlayStation: Um Jammer Lammy
Nintendo 64: The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

You listed way less rhythm games than I expected.

NES: In general Kirby's Adventure, though if I only count games I actually own for the NES The Guardian Legend probably takes it.
Super Nintendo: Chrono Trigger
Playstation: Ape Escape
Gamecube: Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
Playstation 2: I unfortunately got a hold of a Playstation 2 late so the best thing I own for it is Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal. I know the system has a lot more to offer for my tastes but I've been building my other collections instead.
Wii: Metroid Prime Trilogy. Punch-Out!! if I'm not including ports of games I already listed.
Xbox 360: Mirror's Edge
Wii U: I haven't played much of Bayonetta yet but I enjoyed what I have. For games I've played for more than an hour I'd say Tropical Freeze.

Gameboy Color:
Link's Awakening DX
Gameboy Advance: Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow
Nintendo DS:
Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations
Nintendo 3DS:
Kid Icarus: Uprising

Playstation: Croc: Legend of the Gobbos (didn't play much PS1 but this was the best)
Playstation 2: Gitaroo Man (thanks SRT)
Playstation 3: Dragon's Dogma (thanks logi hype train)
Playstation 4: Battlefield 4 (inb4 no taste)
PS Vita: Uhh... Rogue Legacy or Hotline Miami (no games)

Gameboy: Pokemon Blue (unplayable now but favorite due to nostalgia)
Gameboy Color: Donkey Kong Country (never played any other version lol)
Gameboy Advance: Tie between Zero Mission and Aria of Sorrow

Nintendo DS: Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2 (thanks SRT x2)
Nintendo DSi: Starship Defense (does this even count?)
Nintendo 3DS: Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate (obviously)

Wii: Monster Hunter Tri (my first experience with monhun)
Wii U:: Splatoon (bought the system just for this)

Think that covers everything. Probably half of the systems were hand-me-downs by the way.

PS1, PS2, and 360 have way too many games for me to just choose one favorite lol. I'm surpised most posts here can select a single game, some of which here I see are multiplat too.

I generally like multiplayer games, but the most important quality is that I can play the game indefinitely. For this reason, I'll list a few games that come to mind: Jump! Ultimate Stars, Zangeki no Reginleiv, F-Zero GX, and Pokemon Emerald.

I can't speak for everyone but my favorite games change with my mood.
If you ask me to make this list again tomorrow half the answers would probably be different.

I don't own all of these consoles anymore, but here are some of my favourites from over the years (that I can recall at the moment).

NES: Super Mario Bros. Didn't play much of the NES.
PS: Bomberman World or Spyro, hard to decide.
N64: Super Smash Bros., hands down.
Dreamcast: Sonic Adventure 2, no contest here.
PS2: Probably FFX-2, for some reason I loved that game.
Gamecube: Animal Crossing, but it was hard to decide. Loved the **** out of all my GC games.
PC: FFXI... spent days playing that.

Gameboy: Kirby's Dreamland
GBC: Pok?mon Silver
GBA: FF Tactics Advance
DS: Pok?mon Soul Silver
3DS: I don't know. RE: Revelations, maybe? It's hard to decide.

I don't have a very diverse list. Oh well.
Currently playing: Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, Story of Seasons, Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright, RF4.

SNES - Kirby Super Star and Super Mario World
N64 - Banjo Kazooie
GameCube - Super Smash Bros. Melee
Wii - Kirby's Return to Dreamland and Punch-Out (2009)
Wii U - DKC Tropical Freeze
PS2 - MGS2 (played it on the HD collection, but since the only PS2 stuff I've played for the most part was shovelware from when I was younger, I thought this would be a better choice)
PS3 - Little Big Planet 2, Sonic Generations, and Scott Pilgrim vs The World
PS4 - Resogun and The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth
Game Boy - Mega Man V and Mario Land 2 (played MMV on Virtual Console)
Game Boy Color - Wario Land 2 (Virtual Console and emulation)
Game Boy Advance - Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and the port of Super Mario World
DS - Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
3DS - Link Between Worlds, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, and Kirby: Triple Deluxe
PSP - Mega Man: Powered Up
Vita - Tearaway
PC/Steam -Team Fortress 2 and Portal 2

These last few aren't from consoles I own, as I've either used backward compatibility, digital distribution, compilations, or emulation to play them, but I felt like they're worth sharing anyway.

NES - Mega Man 3, Kirby's Adventure, and Castlevania 3
PS1 - Metal Gear Solid
Genesis - Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Dynamite Headdy
32X - Knuckles Chaotix (by being the only 32X game I've ever played)
Sega CD - Sonic CD (see above)
Game Gear/Master System - Sonic 1 (never delved into the system's libraries beyond the Sonic games for the most part)
Arcade - Mega Man: The Power Battle and Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters
