I think we can all agree the 3DS is a pretty great handheld right now. It's not quite perfect though. What kind of features do you wish Nintendo would add in through a firmware update? Personally I think it'd be cool if they added a way to gift people games through the friend's list. That'd be pretty awesome. And yeah I know, inb4 system account.

SNES and GBA virtual console because there's no excuse for why the system doesn't have it.

Id like a console which supplies 4G connection to play inline anywhere

Being able to make a custom theme would be nice.

I wish the 3DS VC had GBA and DS games. I don't want to play those on the Wii U, it's weird.

I think backtouch can be nifty. Imagine how it'd be like if the 3DS had backtouch.

Seriously though, I'm on board with SNES and GBA VC versions for the 3DS. I think the 3DS is perfect for SNES games, given the same button layout. If the 3DS is powerful enough for remakes of N64 and even Wii games, why not SNES ones?

You don't understand how hard it is to model and render a hat. Think of the financial burden on Nintendo when all those hats go unsold.

Well I am now formally saying System Account That shouldn't even be something we WANT them to add, it should have been here already

So besides the obvious... I want them to retool Virtual Boy games to play on the 3DS in 3D. I loved a lot of that tiny library, and I think they are worth playing.

Only thing I can really think of that hasn't been said is make the max volume loud enough for me to hear it from more than two feet away, same goes for headphone/ear bud support, everything's too damn quiet!

Longer battery life would certainly be nice. More cross-playable games with the Wii U would probably be asking a bit much, that's probably better left for the next-gen handheld, although it would be cool to see. Also, maybe some sort of instant messaging/picture messaging. Did we ever get Swapnote back? I have the app but I don't know if Ninty got it up and running again, probs not.

That's a bummer. I haven't used Miiverse much but maybe they could add a feature where you can write public messages and send open images to other users, if they don't already have that. That fact that it's public would hopefully deter people from sending anything inappropriate or personal. They could even hire moderators to ensure safety and prevent abuse.

There is no hope we will ever see this.

That would be awesome, but would need to upgrade the entire handheld. Which I wouldn't mind. I really hope the next one at LEAST quadruples the pixels of the current 3DS. Hopefully there are manufacturers that make some.
