If you're one of the few who doesn't have a New Nintendo 3DS, then I have good news for you. The standalone 3DS NFC adapeter is now up for preoder on Amazon. The adapter will allow you to scan Amiibos and Amiibo cards into your games much like the portal thing in Skylanders. The adapter is coming to NA on September 25th and it'll retail for 19.99.
