Default New 3DS (Charger Capatibility)

Hey, another question from me again! I would use the Chat Room, but I heard you have to post a certain amount of posts to access it.

And, I might have just posted this question anyway as I imagine many have asked it, but no solid answer has been given.

As the title suggests, I want to know which chargers work with which. So, I might as well ask about all of them for safety reasons. So, for example:

Can an American Charger connect to any New/3DS?
Can a European Charger connect to any New/3DS?
Can a Japanese Charger connect to any New/3DS?

Those are the main regions. I remember hearing that the American and Japanese ones had the easiest compatibility due to having the same voltage, well the European one was the only one that suffered due to its extraneous voltage difference.

Are my voltage statistics correct?

Any new 3DS charger that you buy will work with a new 3DS from any region.

Even with the different European Charger? I heard that one had a voltage rate that was a hundred higher than the other two were and that it would break your 3DS if you used it on any other region.

You buy a charger for the region you intend to use it in but the region of the 3DS itself does not matter.

Yeah, I know all of them have the same port, but the voltage is my worry. I worry that too little voltage could cause problems and too much voltage could cause battery damage. Just cause they fit does not guarantee it is safe.

The voltage is only important going *into* the charger -- they all output the same voltage to the device since physically they are all the same regardless of the region. Check the specs of the charger for the region you are considering travelling in -- the output should all be the same as the one you're currently using. Another possibility, if you will be travelling, is simply to buy a voltage converter kit (they're small and not very expensive these days) which will allow you to use the same charger wherever you are going.
