What features/maps should they add to Splatoon?

My biggest want is playable octolings.

Free-for-all mode where everyone shoots the same ink, would probably be super unbalanced but chaotic and fun.

I would really like some kind of semi-auto gun with range in between squelchers and chargers, takes 2-3 shots to kill and has medium firing rate.

Also a completely defensive weapon that is good for defending areas or teammates. Could be some kind of large shield that slowly uses ink to hold it up and more to block shots, if you run out of ink it goes down temporarily. At close range enemies' shots could ricochet back with the opposite color ink and kill them.

Splatoon has so much potential, I hope they have more good modes in store.

Yeah, playable Octolings is a definite want. Imagine what the Kraken would look like... huge octo? Also some different hair/tentacle styles would be awesome.

Another thing I want (it's not really a huge deal) is the option to choose if you want to be on the same team as a friend(s) in Turf War.

Maybe some crossover gear and stages from Mario, Zelda, etc. Or should Splatoon be kept as it is?

I'd also like some more amiibos of an Octoling, Octarian and an Octopus with challengs and gear to unlock.

A map that resembles the final boss level. Or a map with invisible walls that you can ink

We need an airport and an amusement park map.

How about a mode that's like turf war except the splats are permanent? That might be interesting.

There's already a crossover outfit from Ika Musume.

I would like to see some more outfits referencing other games/franchises.

bots for single player training, filling spots in private matches, and replacing DC'd players

It's interesting how the loss of only 1 person from a disconnection can make such a huge difference in a match, but I have won a few matches with only 3 people on my team.

I dunno how bots would work with teamwork in Ranked modes.

If all the Bot did was paint turf, it would still be more helpful than not having another player.
Having the turf be painted with your own color is very useful as it allows you to hide, escape, and attack better.
