Default Where do you work?

I currently tutor people in a whole bunch of subjects like chemistry, physics, and calculus.

I enjoy what I do even if it doesn't pay a whole lot. I've worked there for about a year now. I've been a summer camp counselor too. That was pretty fun.

So where have you worked? Do you enjoy your current job? Any ideas of where you'd like to work in the future?

Thumbs up

I work in the medical field and have on and off since I was 16. I started in neurosurgery and am currently in pain management which primarily deals with drug addicts and people who were hurt and likely won't ever stop hurting due to car or sport accidents, etc.

It's a very difficult line of work. While not physically demanding it absolutely 100% takes its toll emotionally and mentally. I've yet to see someone not become jaded from working in this field. And in some ways that's justified but it definitely makes me sad. I see it in myself at times too and that can be scary.

I wouldn't recommend it.

I hope to work for an OB-GYN next as my current doctor is going to retire in the next two years.

I do get some really crazy stories to tell.

Like the time one of our patients tested positive for methamphetamine and when I sat down to ask him what happened, he told me his wife had bought him a bunch of strippers and cocaine for his 50th birthday.

So glad that traditional marriage values continue to stand strong. -thumbs up-

I guess my only real job was this summer at GameStop. My manager was awesome and we had a lot of fun. In a few weeks Im going to start back when football ends. The only problem is dealing with all the idiots. Like one guy came in and wanted to know why his psp wouldn't play a ps3 game and got really upset when i told him he would have to buy a whole different system to play that game.

Over the summer I worked at our counties Community Foundation and worked on creating online versions of various scholarship applications, to cut down on paper use. Not much I can really say about it, it wasn't the most interesting job once I set everything up, had to manually retype a lot of forms because I only had paper copies.

Weirdest thing about it was setting up capcha's for all of them, not that it was difficult, but when I tested them, I kept having to type in words related to death and murder. I could've written a fully detailed murder mystery story based entirely off of what I got via capcha's lol.
Always buy the game first to see if you will enjoy the demo.

Worked in a human resources office, a publishing company and a community service center.

Currently working for Lego in retail and it's a pretty fun part time.
