Default Indivisible | A new game from the Skullgirls Devs

Indivisible - A 2D RPG for PS4.XB1.Win.Mac.Linux

Quote:
Lab Zero is proud to announce our new action/RPG, currently titled Indivisible.

Indivisible is inspired by classics like Valkyrie Profile and Super Metroid, but with the unique character, world, and gameplay depth Lab Zero is known for, and will feature a stunning soundtrack by legendary Japanese game music composer, Hiroki Kikuta.

This is a fixed funding campaign, which means Indivisible will only happen if we reach our goal. 505 Games has generously agreed to contribute a further $2 million toward its development only if we reach that goal. So for us here at Lab Zero, your contribution counts for more than double!

If funded, Indivisible will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam Windows / Mac / Linux. The final product will support the English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese and Russian languages.
I want to cosplay the protag so bad now.

Still haven't backed, should probably get around to it. Doesn't really seem like my kind of game, but Lab Zero are excellent folks I'd like to support.

Already backed it.
It doesn't look like it's going to make it though.

I think part of the reason it's not even a 1/3 of the way to its goal is because of how much of a mess a bunch of crowd funded games have been recently. It sucks that some poorly managed project end up making people want to not back things like this altogether.

They couldn't.
The game will actually cost over 3 million to make, but the publisher was willing to cover the rest if they were able to get the first 1.5 mil.

Not just mighty no. 9's, a lot of kickstarters coming out recently have been riddled with disappointment and bugs

Armikrog is a good example of that.
Even industry veterans aren't trustworthy with crowdfunding.

Ugh.

This really is frustrating.

I mean, technically, we can't even be sure if the SkullGirls developer is trustworthy either.

Game is at 740k right now, shot up something like 100k in a day. If they reach 60% of their goal by the end of funding Indigogo is going to give them a one month extension.

The game being fully funded is actually reasonable now.

I've still been going back on forth on things. To be blunt, I really don't think this is the sort of game I would enjoy, so you have to understand why I'd be hesitant backing. But at the same time I really like Skullgirls, and respect the work and thought that has gone into the game. So I'm just not sure where that puts me, or what I should do.

Why not a small donation of $5 or less?

Every little bit counts.

If you're that indecisive donate the minimum to support the companies survival, but not enough for any of the game perks

Yeah, if this game doesn't make it the whole company is going to go under.
