smaller ones start at 6-7 Euro. The average are sold for around 11-13 Euros and the bigger, more complex ones go up to 15-18 euro. But Metal Earth are gonna release even bigger ones soon...I hope they stay under 50.
In the US I suppose you pay the same price but in USD. A friend of mine in NY paid for his set of 4 HALO models around 45 USD. Here is the Master Chief Helmet I just made:  Added after 13 minutes: Would anyone be interested if I made a video of me building one of those? I'm not much into making vids and there are alot of those already on youtube but if anyone here wants some I might try to make one with better step by step guide than those on YT

if you mean those metal earth model kits, I've been doing them somewhat over a year. at first I had to import them because they weren't available in Germany but since a year or so you can buy them here.
A model kit can take me about 15 min up to 4-6 hours to build, depending on how complex they are. Added after 2 Hours 14 minutes: Piano                  Added after 2 Hours 36 minutes: Metal Earth Mass Effect Alliance Cruiser       Added after 4 Hours 6 minutes: Metal Earth Electric Bass Guitar         Added after 3 Hours 36 minutes: Metal Earth Bass Fiddle

i got a millenium falcon one today and i made it, cut my fingers in 2 places lol

The tools I always have ready when I start building a model kit:
 And yes, I broke plenty of parts at the beginning. Usually for bending back and forth or when I try to fold a pin or so and hold the model the wrong way and suddenly everything is fubar...but it hardly happens anymore I messed up the Arc de Triomphe for example but the fix was easy. Still annoying thought. When I started with those metal earth kits I used mostly my fingers to do the bendings and I had plenty of cuts and whatnot but once I figured out how they work I use mostly tools for folding and stuff. Oh yeah, I use the website isntruction manuel when i build them. I use the paper manual only for the part sheet. My friend does the same and it's much better that way. My monitor is bigger and I can see the pictures better. Metal Earth MASS EFFECT Turian Cruiser

you don't get cuts if you use tweezers and other tools. I got some cuts at the beginning when I used my fingers...

These are pretty awesome. Any chance you can snap a pic of the drum set, piano, and lead guitar next to a cigarette pack for scale comparison? I'm trying to determine if these would be good to use with my action figure collection.

here in germany i buy it from some online store. But amazon sells them too. right now they are sold practically everywhere.the small models start from 6-10 bucks and the bigger/more detailed ones are about 15-20.

Added after 18 Hours 49 minutes: METAL EARTH Sears Tower I tried the light thingy again but the lower and upper parts are cut off by a plate. I tried to simulate the light FX by putting the flashlight behind the tower but it'S not the same. The lower part on the other hand had a nice light FX. it looks nice but the metal is harder. that means once ya bend the wrong way it's a 90% chance it brakes when ya try to rebend it...really annoying but lucky me I screwed up only once. But yes, the gold look is awesome
