i really love the idea and the badges look cool. while i might never pay for 5 plays, i am glad that they give you free chances in practice. Hoping for Kirby/fire emblem/pokemon badges soon

There's always a catch in free to play games....

The way I've come to see it is that it's basically another theme store. Except it has a minigame. And that minigame has a chance factor.

How does it work? is it like you get a few chances per day and any more than that costs money?

The first time you play it you get 5 free plays. Then you can do a practice run of the game with a chance to win some more free plays. You can only play the practice run once a day so you only have one chance to get the free plays. Anything other than that you have to buy yourself. The free plays are enough to get a couple of badges per day so you dont necessarily have to buy plays. Like, today I managed to get almost all the Splatoon badges just with 2 free plays. If you're good you can get a lot of badges just on the free stuff.

Now that it's been over a week, what's the verdict? Worth the time?

I might get addicted to it. Being able to customize your home screen is kind of cool, but you can attach badges to folders and there's special badges that launch software.

At the bare minimum I need to customize my homescreen now - and I never even bought a theme.
Once I customize my homescreen I might stop playing it though. Or I'll check for free plays.
