Default NEW 3DS XL White pearl U.S version?

Hey guys

So I purchased a black New 3Ds XL a couple months ago and so far I love it! My nephew has a regular 3ds (he's 11) and his 5 year old brother always wants to play on his so I've decided to give him mine.

I was thinking about purchasing the same one, but just recently saw some White pearl NEW 3Ds XL consoles online for sale that work in the US. I'm a little bit skeptical, because as far as I know the NEW 3DS xl White pearl hasn't been released in the US. So My question is, are these devices just asian devices that have been unlocked for the USA? Do you think they come in english or just Japanese?

These are the sellers, I already messaged them, but no response yet, so I wanted to check with y'all to see if maybe you had any advice. Thanks.

This one is on Ebay

This one is on Play-asia.com

That console is in-fact compatible in the US/NTSC titles.

The model was released for the UAE, Singapore, and Malaysia. For some reason, those countries are in the same "region" as the US. They should be in English too.

Obviously, there's always the chance that a seller is not honest about their product so it's up to you whether or not you want to take that chance and import it. Just depends on how badly you want that white color.

Thanks, man. I have done some research on play-asia.com and looks like a lot of people have purchased through them and they're good. Now this Region lock applies also to downloaded games right? Like I will have access to the US eshop? I purchase most of my games online so I hope I don't have any issues when I transfer my stuff over. Thanks again for your help.

You technically should be able to transfer no problem since they're both in the same region.
