Default Nintendo of Europe suck

They really do imo.

We Europeans got no friggin release date for the new Fire Emblem game. Let alone any news about the special edition being released over here.

We are getting Yo Kai Watch on April 29th released here, thats nearly 6 months after the US release date for it.

Not to mention we are just about to get Stella Glow for Europe, 4 months after the US.

These are just a few examples of NoE release schedule incompetence. There should be really no excuses for all these long delays releasing games over here.

But we get other games much earlier, like Bravely Default and Second, Yoshi's Woolly World and Fantasy Life so it all evens out.

I would say NoA is worse from what I've seen <.<;

*cough* Besides, you can play the NA ver. of Fire Emblem on your 3DS if you really want to */cough*

How can I without having to resort to buy a US 3DS?

Since the 3DS's are all region locked, there is no way for me to play the US version of FE: Fates on my UK 3DS.

I would have to disagree. Sure EU, AUS & NZ had earlier releases for some games like Fantasy Life, Bravely Default and Bravely Second but you can actually count how many games gets early releases in EU/NZ/AUS. Even if we get a lot of early release date for some games, NA would get it a few weeks later, they don't have to wait for months to get it (in most cases).

NA also has better limited edition, special edition and also collector's edition than EU, AUS & NZ for most games not only on the 3DS but also on PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS Vita, PC, etc.

Yeah there is absolutely no excuses for all the long delays releasing games over here in the UK and Europe.

I am not just talking about 3DS games, but all the other handhelds and consoles like Vita, X-Box One, PS4, etc too.

My point is this, time and time again we Europeans always get long delays - usually for a couple months on end - for most major titles being released over here after the US release. This isn't simply acceptable in today's age imo.

Just look at the movie business for example, most major blockbusters for both the cinemas and for DVD's are released within Europe around about a month approx after the US release.

Same thing goes for the book industry, most publishers usually release major book titles within a month or two in Europe after its been published in the US.

So what's the game's industry excuse then for all these major delays? Publishers and developers really need to get their asses in gear in releasing games over in Europe more quickly after the US release.

Okay but I dunno what all those have to do with NoE <.<; Europe gets Nintendo games faster than America on average. Another example is Mario&Luigi Paper Jam.

10 years ago it was a whole another deal.

Its a comparison, since book and movies like games are different types of enterainment. I mean lots of people enjoy reading and watching films besides gaming.

Sure, it's not as bad as 5 or 10 years ago and there has been some improvements on EU/NZ/AUS release, we get some games earlier but it still bad compared to the US release. Why I am bringing up NoE is because you said "I would say NoA is worse from what I've seen <.<;" and it's not. This is not an opinion, it's a fact.

Considering I have been importing games from US and Canada for years now, I think I know what I am saying. Not trying to attack you or anything but you cannot say NoA is worse based on a few games that gets early release in EU/AUS/NZ. You have to look at other games as well.

To be honest, I'd say NoA is worse. Nintendo of Europe/Australia have been really good lately with releases. Over a lifetime, NoA would be better based on the years prior to around 2014, but now I'd confidently place NoA behind in terms of a majority of release dates.

Plus, the people here from the US have agreed with this in the past.

All 3DS Games from 2015-2016 (Including some eshop games) BUT TBA (To be announced) games are not included unless it has been released or release date has been confirmed in one of the region (US/EU/AUS).

Total Early release Games
NA Vs AUS
62 Games Vs 14 Games

NA Vs EU
52 Games Vs 18 Games

So far:
No release date for AUS : 29 Games in total
No release date for EU : 16 Games in total
No release date for NA : 7 Games in total

Similar release date
NA & AUS = 14 Games
NA & EU = 22 Games

Bravely Second also 3rd party title. So I assumed you guys were talking about Nintendo published games?

Nintendo published games from 2015-2016:

NA Vs AUS = 16 Games Vs 7 Games
NA Vs EU = 12 Games Vs 7 Games

Similar Release date
NA & EU = 4 Games
NA & AUS = 0

TBA/TBC/No Release date
EU Vs AUS Vs NA = 1 Game Vs 2 Games Vs 3 Games

Bravely Second and Default were published by NoE in Europe. If it wasn't for NoE those games wouldn't have released here at all <.<;

Well, you know, a game needs French/German/Spanish/Italian localization. It's a must in Europe, never ask me why. I use homepass, so over the internet I did streetpass with people from Germany, and most of them had Virtual console Pokemon in German language.

To be honest, in terms of 3DS games, I've never been jealous of our European friends and am quite happy that I own a North American 3DS. I mean, you guys didn't even get Harvest Moon: A New Beginning for like, a year and a half after it was released here.

Edit: I guess that example is not really NoE's fault but still an example of you guys getting screwed over, lol.
