Default New 3DS XL - "An error has occurred.."

I think I've seen this error before on an older 3DS but I seem to be getting it more regularly with the New 3DS XL I recently purchased. I've seen the error at least 3 times in the last few weeks. Anyone else?

Cheers,
LongTom

Hi Turtles,

It's a generic system error, no codes, simply says:

"An error has occurred. Press and hold the POWER button to turn the system off. Please refer to the Operations Manual for details."

i got an error that sounded like that in my OG 3ds, i think its bc i must have knocked my 3ds while it was in my bag and it knocked the sd card, tried taking the sd card out and putting it back in?
they stopped once i done that

(im pretty sure it was that error and not the 'the sd card has been removed error' that came up when i just tried taking it out now)
