I have two SNES games that freeze when I beat them. Super punch out and Super Mario Kart.

It sits on the end screen and I have no way to get back to the start menu? I feel like I must be doing something wrong but the only way to get out of there is to go back to previous restore point. Very frustrating.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated
