Season 4 episode 4 plot synopsis:

Equestria Daily: Episode Synopsis: Season 4 Episode 4

Part of me feels this episode will be another one of those formulaic episodes, because it feels like I've seen this premise played out before. Also, I find this premise rather interesting in light of

HOORAY, MY LITTLE PONY: FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC IS BACK! And the season 4 premiere?...

...I liked it. I felt really excited while watching it, and I feel like it's too soon to give a fully critical analysis about it, but at the very least, it wasn't COMPLETELY underwhelming, and there weren't any head-slappingly dumb moments like A Canterlot Wedding (which I still enjoyed, BTW). So, I'll just give some of my immediate first impressions of this two-parter.

WARNING! My spoiler tag contents LOTS OF TEXT! Don't bother opening it if you're not going to read (or at least skim) all of it! And don't bother complaining about it either, they're my thoughts and I wanted to get them out there. So yeah, you've been warned. Also, apologizes for any bad grammar and spelling errors, that seems to be a minor recurring thing with my long posts...

Spoiler!

Yeah, despite all I just said, I enjoyed this two-parter. It felt good, and really gave me hope for what's to come! Hopefully, others will feel the same...

Also, if you aren't going to read someone's post then don't respond to it.

tl;dr gifs add nothing to the thread and get annoying after the 1000th time I've seen it.

I'm a little late on replying to this because I had work and my family picked out a Christmas Tree.

But yeah, just watched Castle Mane-ia... It was okay. I'm glad that I didn't hate it, but there wasn't much in there that appealed to me. I didn't think the jokes were all that funny, save for one or two, and I wasn't scared by the supposed "scary" bits, and the whole thing felt INCREDIBLY cliched. But of course, that's just how I felt, I'm sure people will find a lot to enjoy about this episode... and there are some things I did enjoy. Click on the spoilers to see more (not QUITE the massive wall of text as last week's, but still a lot there).

Spoiler!

I THINK that was everything I wanted to mention... Oh, one last thing: this is the first episode by new writer Josh Haber. I didn't know what to expect from him, and having seen his debut episode... I still don't know what to think of him. I can't really get a firm grasp on his style, since as I said before, the episode feels really cliche. Maybe if and when he writes another episode I'll get a better understanding of how he writers; and I know there are some of you out there that don't like the idea of judging an episode by it's writer, and it's understandable, since a lot of people would rather just judge an episode on it's own merits, but that doesn't mean a writer can't bring his or her own quirks to an episode, and sometimes that can either improve an episode or... well, yeah.

Speaking of which, apparently Dave Polsky is writing the next episode? You know what, I'm feeling very optimistic about this season, so maybe it'll be good, or another exception like Too Many Pinkie Pies... I'd really rather find out who the writers are AFTER I've seen an episode, honestly...

But as for this episode? Good, but I kind of doubt it'll be a classic.

So I saw Daring Don't; it took a while because of work, preparing for a Christmas Party tonight, and my sister was watching a show, but I finally saw it!

It was good. I didn't enjoy it that much, though I think that's honestly just personal preference. It certainly wasn't bad in any way, and not nearly as annoying as anything from the previous seasons. Hell, even though Dave Polsky is my least-favorite writer, if I didn't know he wrote this episode before I saw it, I probably wouldn't have guessed it was him! Although... no, you know what, nevermind, this episode is good... Time for my extensive thoughts/first impressions of the episode!

Spoiler!

So that's what I thought of this episode... I think I got everything I wanted to say out there. Again, good, but for me, not that great. Well done Dave Polsky.

...Oh, and one other thing:

http://www.equestriadaily.com/2013/1...-released.html

Pony available music FINALLY available on iTunes and Google Play! Listening to some right now, in fact!

Flight to the Finish - HO-LY COW was I excited for this one! Still trying to gauge my emotions over this episode, though, I was definitely excited throughout most of it, and I liked it... for the most part. Nothing in it was really a deal-breaker for me, yet I can't help but feel like I got a little TOO excited over it, thus leading me to be a bit disappointed... Ironically, I don't think this episode's as controversial as everyone, including Meghan McCarthy, were making it out to be, or at least not in the way people were expecting... Let me explain.

Spoiler!

And I think that's it. Bravo to Ed Valentine for writing this, I think he had a much better debut episode then Josh Haber with Castle Mane-ia. Again, I don't think this will be as controversial as everyone expected, or at the very least, not controversial in the way we thought it would be. Definitely a good one, IMO.

Just saw Power Ponies, and well... I didn't like it. Hard to say why I didn't like it... Probably for the same reason some people (particularly Tommy Oliver/BronyCurious) didn't like Daring Do, I just didn't like the premise. I dunno, for me, fiction within fiction never interested me, because they're NOT the main focus, and thus trying to get us invested in what happens to them is kind of moot because not only do you know they're not real, but because they're NOT the main focus of an show/movie/whatever, they don't get enough time to developer and create stakes for us to care about. There are some exceptions, like The Walrus & The Carpenter from Alice in Wonderland (or if we're going by the books, Through the Looking Glass); there it's done right, it's entertaining, it's brief, and it's both relevant and irrelevant to the story (in the animated Disney movie, anyway). It's relevant because there's an Aesop/moral to it, and acts a a bit of foreshadowing, but it's irrelevant because Alice completely misses the point of it. In the case of this episode, maybe it's because I'm already disinterested, but from what I gathered,
Spoiler!

I guess that's it... Ugh, I feel so down and out, for some reason. I really didn't like ripping into this episode, if you can even call it that. I don't like it, but I can't justify it, and I just know there will be some people upset with me for not liking it, or some people that will try to argue or debate with me over it, and I dunno, it's not like I don't want people to hear my thoughts or react accordingly, I'm just in a real bummer mood, I guess. I still didn't really like the idea of the episode to begin with, but maybe that might have effected my mood now...

So I saw Bats!... Not sure what to think of it. And hey, would you look at that, only Meghan McCarthy wrote this! Merriweather Williams isn't credited at all, at least not in the opening credits... Where was it said that she and Meghan McCarthy would be writing this episode, again? Well, whatever, the episode certainly wasn't bad. As to whether or not I liked it... Eh, I think I'm going to need some time to think about that, but I'll talk about what I saw. So yeah, first impressions. Sorry if I can't be in-depth or analytical like I usually try to be; I guess there's no rushing these things.

Spoiler!

Ugh, sorry for that last rant, I actually wasn't THAT upset by the ending, nowhere near as upset I was with Flight to the Finish's ending. Again, I'm not sure what to think of this episode... I can't wait to see some reviews and analysis's of this episode, maybe they'll help reevaluate my thoughts on this episode. There WERE parts I liked about it, but there were also parts I either didn't like or found confusing. Eh... Could be worse, I suppose.

Saw Pinkie Apple Pie! Hard to say what I thought of it. Pretty sure I liked it, even though I don't really like watching... Well, I'll get to that momentarily. I'll definitely say this, it was well-written, at least from what I saw, and there's nothing structurally wrong with it, so whether or not I like it comes down to personal preference. I mean, I definitely enjoyed it for the most part, but there are moments that didn't sit well with me, for entirely personal (and seemingly trite) reasons.

Spoiler!

Well, that's what I thought of this episode... PRETTY sure I liked it, despite my... well, they aren't really nitpicks, I just don't like seeing those kinds of things in general. So good episode overall! So, what, this is, like, 9 episodes in, 2 I genuinely didn't care for, 2 I think are okay, and 5 I genuinely like? I feel like this really is turning out to be my favorite season so far, despite my past ramblings about the season.

Some douchenozzles are upset that Hasbro took down the "Molestia" blog.

Good riddance, I say. People need to remember that My Little Pony is a children's show and that rape jokes are gross.

Cry harder, manchildren.

I'll be honest, I did visit Ask Princess Molestia on occasion, though only because I love how John Joseco draws ponies. The adult jokes, while I was never fully disgusted by them, did make me feel extremely uncomfortable a lot of the time...

But hey, at the very least, it was replaced by "Ask Gaming Princess Luna" which some say was the better half of that ask blog.

I kinda enjoyed power ponies, the joker aspect of the villain was nice. But i guess i sort of like kinda bad super hero cartoons.

I just found the premise to be kinda silly.

I mean Spike just HAPPENS to get an enchanted comic book?

Also,I watched Rarity takes Manehatten. That was a pretty solid episode.

So far I like this season a lot more than season 3. The overarching story arc with the old castle helps this season be a lot more cohesive.

Pinkie's Pride! Well, um... not sure what to say about this episode... I mean, I have a lot to say, but it's hard to explain... I mean, I'm going to explain myself, but so much happens, it's hard to even know where to start or what to talk about, like holy cow, so much happens...

So, here's the thing; when I heard "Weird Al" Yankovic was guest starring in this episode, I was hyped to living Hell, saying this will be the best season ever and this will be the best episode ever. As the days got closer to the premiere, I started to calm down a bit, and I got worried. For one thing, Amy Keating Rogers was not only writing the episode, but also the songs. Amy Keating Rogers isn't the worst writer of the show, not by a long-shot, but last time she wrote a Pinkie Pie episode (A Friend in Deed), It made me really frustrated and REALLY angry... like Dave Polsky's Feeling Pinkie Keen levels of anger. And her other episodes that season, specifically The Last Roundup and MMMystery on the Friendship Express, I hated those episodes, too! Which, again, doesn't mean I hate her as a writer, Hell I liked The Cutie Pox, as well as The Best Night Ever in season 1 (thought then again, her other episodes that season didn't do much for me, either), but it still made me nervous all the same. And then there's the songs. I only heard bits and pieces of them before I saw the episode, and while they were okay, I wasn't TOO impressed by them, nor was I all that impressed with A.K.R.'s original version of the Smile song. This wouldn't have made me THAT nervous if Weird Al wasn't guest starring, and I felt it would be a travesty among travesties to have him guest star in an episode and NOT have him write at least one song! Daniel Ingram's comments about working with him also made it sound like he mostly supervised and didn't actually write songs. So again, I was worried this was going to backfire, but did it meet expectations? Well, let's go through the episode from the start to finish, to show you my progression and my thoughts as it went.

Spoiler!

Oh yeah, that's right, this episode rocks! I love it, and it continues to support my assumption that his is, indeed, the best season of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic so far! There are other minor things I kind of want to mention, though, such as
Spoiler!

But that aside, REALLY good episode, so relieved it turned out as good as it did! Bravo to Amy Keating Rogers and Jayson Thiessen for writing THE best Pinkie Pie episode, and not having it so that Weird Al didn't overshadow the episode, like so many other shows that have a guest star do.

So... next week is "Simple Ways", but Josh Haber, and it supposedly has an unbelievable performance by Rarity... Sound good! Again, part of me doesn't want to be TOO hyped for this, but really, the way this season's going, I wouldn't be surprised if it really DID turn out awesome! Still, perhaps not being that hyped is the best way to go about these things.

Pinkie Apple Pie just didn't leave a strong impression on me but Rainbow Falls and Three's A Crowd were really great.

So I've finally caught up...

Pinkie Pride was another great episode. Weird Al's character was amazing.

I thought it was a bit much to have 6 songs in one episode, but this episode features Weird Al. That's turns it into a 'what did you expect' kind of moment. Well hey, I liked the episode so that's really all that matters.

Yep so just watched pinkie pride. I actually really like it. I saw an ad for it a few days ago and I was really horrified that they were featuring Weird Al but it actually turned out to make sense. This is one of my favorite episodes of the season so far.

Weird Al really did knock it out of the park. I especially loved when he snatched Smile Smile Smile away from Pinkie!

Also on a side note, for being the element of Loyalty, Rainbow Dash sure jumps on different teams all the time.

Finally, THE RETURN OF DERPY!!!

Many would argue that it's BECAUSE she isn't a 100% accurate representation of her element is what makes her such an appealing character. Same goes for Rarity. People often say that having them defined by their element would be dull, boring, one-note, and not all that interesting from a story-telling perspective.

Well I'm not sure about Rarity since her latest ep was all about the element she holds, though I do think she holds many similarities to Rainbow Dash.

Speaking of, anyone notice the amount of attention Dash been receiving this season?

Hard to tell, with all the other going-ongs; shadow ponies, Daring Do, Fluttershy turning into the Hulk AND a bat, Coco Pommel, Pinkie Pie and the Apple family, Bulk Biceps, Derpy, Discord, Weird Al as a pony... I haven't really noticed if and how one character is getting more attention then another, since there's so much other stuff going on.

Definitely.

If they never struggled with their element, then there would be virtually no conflict or character development.

I'm not saying I don't like their traits, it makes them far more likable. Angry Fluttershy, Dishonest AJ, Greedy Rarity, Sad Pinkie and Wavering Loyalty Rainbow are all interesting to watch. (Boo Twilight, your opposite is Non-Magic)

I think the better way to put this is that it always seems that RD is the quickest to lose sight of her element.

To be honest, I personally think it seems like Rarity's the one sticking the least to her element... sure, Rainbow has decided to fly off rather than being loyal to her friends a bit too many times throughout the show, but Rarity just really doesn't seem to fit her element at all... like when she made Spike give her his ruby right before his birthday in Secret of My Excess, or when she gave him the smallest gem in Just for Sidekicks. Because of that, she seemed really out of person in Rarity Takes Manehattan, when she was being really generous to everyone, and that kinda bothered me (though it was otherwise a pretty good episode). But then again, I may just be a bit too harsh on her because I never really liked her that much in the first place (sorry, Rarity fans).

Simple Ways! I should probably say right off the bat that I don't like love stories, not that there's anything wrong with them, they just don't interest me. I should ALSO say I hate awkward moments, because they're hard to sit through. This episode is FULL of that, plus other stuff I didn't like. Which is not to say it's bad, in fact there's a lot of stuff I liked about it, I just doubt that I'll be re-watching it anytime soon... Or maybe I will, just to try and catch anything going on in the background... Anyway, ugh, where do I start...

Spoiler!

So, yeah, those were my thoughts on Simple Ways. It was... decent. I liked the latter half more then the former half, really liked the ending and lesson, but other then that, not much for me to talk about... Other then recurring problems with season 4 itself, but I think I'll gripe more about THAT when the season is over... or the next time Twilight's princesshood is ignored or Spike gets abused. Whichever comes first.

Yeah, I agree with your sentiments on this episode. The moral in the end was nice but I didn't really enjoy seeing Rarity act like a fool.

Well, this was an interesting episode! I started out thinking I'd hate this episode, but it turned out I loved it! It might just be one of my new favorites, despite one major, consistent problem. Still, I can't help but adore this episode, and I'll get to why...

Spoiler!

Anyway, this episode's great. The weakest link is Pinkie Pie, and I seriously hope that Amy Keating Rogers improves when it comes to writing her. Take a note out of what she and Jayson Thiessen did in Pinkie's Pride and try not to make her TOO overbearing, obnoxious, or... questionable... But yeah, great episode, really, truly loved it!

Saw Maud Pie this morning, and it would see this is another new writer, Noelle Benvenuti... who apparently hasn't written anything, TV Show, movie, or otherwise, before this! So what we have here is a NEW newbie! ...And it's quite good for a first go!

Yeah, really, this was a great episode! Well, great might be stretching it, I'm not entirely sure it hit all the right notes, but it definitely felt like a good episode, and enjoyable to watch! Gosh, not sure where to start. This time, I'm going to go back into in-depth mode! How y'all are ready!

I should probably first say that this is the first episode I saw when it aired in a while, since someone at my work asked me to trade shifts with him, so I'm supposedly working later tonight. I would have commented on this episode sooner had I not needed to drop my sister off somewhere... Anyway, onto the episode!

Spoiler!

Seriously, I can't get over how much I love Maud! I TOTALLY want to see more of her! So yeah, good episode, bravo! And Bravo for me, for actually getting this out in a timely manner!

Worst show of all time, even worse than the terrible shows of Steven Universe, Adventure Time, and Regular Show.

Came here looking for negativity without explanation, was not disappointed. You get a gold star.

Bonus points for dragging 3 other good shows into the mix.

Definitely not sarcasm. None of those shows are enjoyable at all whatsoever. Non-funny jokes, terrible plots, annoying characters and extremely childish. (My Little Pony just for little girls),

So I saw For Whom the Sweetie Belle Toils earlier today... Incidentally, many say it's a reference to the Ernest Hemmingway novel For Whom the Bell Tolls, but THAT was originally a line from Devotions Upon Emergent Occasions, and severall steps in my Sicknes, by poet John Donne in 1624!

Anyway, the episode... *sigh*, I just don't know... I don't want to hate this episode, nor do I think there's anything wrong with it, but it makes me depressed. It's mostly based on the beginning of it, and also that it kind of gets personal for me. Not that it's anything specific from the episode, but that the concept in general is not only a cliche I've seen dozens of times, but also something I just dealt with and I'm still a bit shaken from. As a whole, the episode made me feel depressed, and I feel bad because I want to like the good bits, but...

...Well, I guess I should probably start explaining myself.

Spoiler!

So I guess those are my thoughts on For Whom the Sweetie Belle Toils... I'm really depressed right now... Probably because... okay, you know what, I don't want to get any more personal then I already did, so I'll save that, though I think I know why I'm so depressed at the moment, or why I can't get over what I didn't like about the episode... Which sucks because I'm more inclined to being forgiving this season, and with this episode, but part of me doesn't want to get over my negative feelings. Maybe I'll watch it again, when I'm in a better mood. I doubt it'll do any good, since my feelings rarely change when I view something I didn't really like a second time. Anyway, that's it, so I'm out...

Saw Trade Ya earlier today. I definitely had a lot to nitpick about while watching it, but I don't think it's that bad... from a neutral perspective. The ending definitely felt way too corny and wishy-washy for my tastes. It's not like I don't expect the series to be like that, but... there's a difference between genuine emotion in writing and half-hearted, ham-handed corny stuff that don't feel believable. Family Guy falls into this trap quite frequently, it pulls the rug from under the audience so frequently, and the characters act so horrible to one-another that I can't be invested when they try to act nice once in a while. Obviously this episode doesn't got that far, and I can't put my finger on why I don't like it... Hell, I'm not even sure if I like it or not, I just know that the nitpick train's in town and I'm the conductor this time.

Spoiler!

Seriously, this episode, coupled with Sompony to Watch Over Me, makes me think that Scott Sonneborn is the new Dave Polsky, in the sense that neither of them are very good writers. That being said, I don't hate this episode. I don't think I particularly like it, but I definitely found a lot to complain and critique about it, leading me to think he's not a very good writing, given all the trappings he's fallen into with his episodes. What's weird though is that, unlike Dave Polsky, he's never written anything that's made me angry, not to mention, while Scott's writing can be very nonsensical a lot of the time, it's not nearly as nonsensical as Dave's episodes (or at least his early episodes). Not to mention, while I found a lot to complain about and some of Scott's mistakes can get pretty stupid, it's not stupid to the point of either being insulting or enraging as Dave's episodes. It's ironic, while many people find Dave Polsky's episodes hilarious despite his poor writing style, I find his attempts at humor make me angrier and make me notice his shortcomings even more! By contrast, Scott doesn't got THAT extreme, and thus, is mostly safe from my scorn.

I DO think that, just like Dave Polsky, he can improve with new episodes. I just hope that, unlike Dave Polsky, he's given a ton of episodes to write. I don't care if it's more practice, give the episodes to writers who've proven to be good or more competent!

...So yeah, those were my thoughts on Scott Sonneburn and Trade Ya. I'm starting to feel like watching these episodes and writing these write-ups are becoming a chore, despite me getting some kind of primal joy in tearing into crap that either doesn't make sense to me or is something I don't like. I think it's a good thing this season's almost over, that way I can focus on the bajillion other things I've been meaning to get around to.

Finally caught up with all the episodes.

I think I like Season 4 a lot more than I did Season 3 or 2.

I guess after this finale is over I can properly rank them all.

I saw the season finale over at a friends house. Don't want to sound too overly hyped or excited or anything, but I ****ING LOVED IT! In a calm and manageable sense.

I should also say that since we chatted a bit during the season finale, and since the guy's cable box wasn't working too well, we missed out on certain details, but we got most of it. Regardless, I consider this a bit of a first impressions write-up rather then my usual analysis junk... which is not to say a lot of them are basically my first impressions, but since I don't have ALL the details, I don't want to be too analytical, since there might be something I missed. That being said, I can't really think of anything wrong with the two-parter, even stuff that might have been a problem or annoyed me kind of made up for it in other ways. Hell, it might have even improved some episodes that I didn't think too fondly on...

Spoiler!

And I'd say that's about everything I wanted to say. I'm honestly incredibly stoked, this truly might be the best two-parter, if not the best two episodes of the series in my book, and definitely something to be proud of, like Meghan McCarthy said. Yeah, I'm actually sold on the show's new direction, let's keep it up for season 5! ...which isn't until 2015... holy ****... no more new ponies... This'll be weird. Well, at least we have quite a few things to talk and speculate about, AND I've got a bunch of other shows and games to catch up on in the meantime. Still, a pretty wicked way to end the best season of the show, way to go guys!

...

Oh, and apparently CR! is unimpressed. Figures... :/

By the way, a thought just occurred to me after finding something out. As I said, I missed quite a lot of exposition from this episode, and apparently one of the bits of exposition was
Spoiler!

...

Um... okay... well, honestly, knowing that kind of dampens a lot of the episode for me. It's all still awesome, but there are two major problems with this that I have:

Spoiler!

Like I said, the two-parter is still awesome, but I think it would have been more awesome if the didn't include that call-back and raise a bunch of questions like that... I mean, I was already raising questions despite the awesomeness of the season finale, and while this bit of information may have answered one of those questions, it only raised more questions in return!

Yeah, it seems the escape should have been shown in the episode in order to make that clearer.

But I liked having the season long story arc.

So I was talking about the song "You'll Play Your Part" on another forum, and how some people apparently don't like it for reasons, when I decided to rank the songs this season from favorite to least favorite:

1.) Hearts as Strong as Horses/Apples to the Core (sorry, I can't choose, they're both just so good!0
2.) Glass of Water (no really, I listened to this song about 50 times after the episode aired... I compare the appeal of this song to that of Yakko's World, just so many words, I feel like I want to memorize it...)
3.) Find the Music in You
4.) Music in the Treetops/Find the Music in You mash-up
5.) Make a Wish (really like the extended version)
6.) Bats (though I found the part with the mane 6 to be very jarring)
7.) Music in the Treetops
8.) Cheese Confesses
9.) Pinkie's Lament
10.) The Goof-Off
11.) The Super DupeR Party pony
12.) Pinkie the Party Planner
13.) Generosity/You'll Play Your Part
14.) Let the Rainbow Remind You
15.) Flim Flam Miracle Curative Tonic
16.) The rappin' Hist'ry of the Wonderbolts

Dishonorable Mention: Spike singing the Cloudsdale Anthem.

Default My Little Pony Friendship is Magic

This show.....any man goes into it with low expectations and just.....well what happens is nothing short.....of MAGIC!

Twilight Sparkle is my favorite character largely because I like her voice the most. Discuss your magical awakenings and memorable moments/characters!

Wow, it really has been a while, hasn't it?

On Topic: I think season 4 has been, by far, the best season yet. I love the humor this season, especially in Castle Maneia, Pinkie Apple Pie, and Maud Pie. I love that we had a season-wide story arc a-la season 1, with an excellent premier and finale. It made the season cohesive, and not just a random jumble of episodes (some good, some not so good) thrown together (which is largely how I felt about seasons 2 and 3). I also love how many callbacks there were to earlier seasons - we had a few of those in season 3, but not nearly as many as season 4. The writers have really built up a lore, and that's great!

Oh, yeah, I definitely think Season 4 finally delivered on the potential that was shown in Season 1. Discord was always a favorite character of mine so I'm glad that he had a prominent role as well.

I hope Season 5 also has an overarching plot.

Oh my gosh! There hasn't been a reply to this thread in so long I forgot it even existed, and no, I'd say it isn't bad to bump this thread. I'd love to see more discussion here.

In any case, welcome to the forums! Who's your favourite pony? Mine's Rarity. (followed closely by Fluttershy)

I know a lot of people have stopped watching the show but Season 5 has been really good so far.

There have been a lot of call backs to the first season.

"Appleoosa's Most Wanted" has excellent slapstick.

"Slice of Life" is just so ridiculous with its fan service- it's worth a watch.

I've been enjoying season 5 a lot so far. Some of my favorite episodes include "Tanks for the Memories", "Amending Fences" and (especially) "Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep?".
Got pretty emotional at the end of "Brotherhooves Social".
I've also watched Friendship Games, and it was pretty good. Definitely better than Rainbow Rocks IMO, maybe better than Equestria Girls too.

I managed to get like 16 episodes behind. And like a week or two ago, I watched like 5 of those episodes. And I just watched the rest of them yesterday and today. I think this was one of the better seasons but to me, I think the show hasn't really been the same after the first season. It's still decent but not something I care too much to keep up with.
