(I do a lot of Super Mario World rom hacking, so there's a lot of folders this that stuff.

Just use ctrl and -(minus)
That lets you zoom out (on Chrome at least)
ctrl and + to zoom in
ctrl and 0 to go back to 100%

I've just re-done my desktop and mIRC, I really want to show it off:

So now... would I like Wind Waker for the 3DS? How did you guess that?

Edit: Yes, the Start Menu should need a little touch more. But I didn't want to restart my PC to let Windows finish the Icon up to a zelda Icon, and Username from adr to Adr990.

Either for the mIRC background, I need to find a HD quality Image.

Well, PS3 games for now..
I have to set up Newsleecher and FTD again soon. heh

And yes, the stuff cost waay to much, I rather am Pirate, even how sorry I feel for some Developers.
If games where priced like the PC for Home Consoles, it already would have been better.

But anyhow, paying 20-30 Euro for a game wouldn't been a problem to much, it would almost kill Piracy totally, right?

50-60 (and even 65 for Heavy Rain) makes people Pirate.

I didn't know it was pre-hacked! It's now a Windows 7 theme.

I've been torrenting Rev 10 since this morning. I got Beast so I could see what I was doing in the first place (fix'd resolution), and it was a fast download anyway. Rev 10 still has like 5 hours left.

There are some really nice looking desktops here..., and I have several that I want to comment on (I lurk mostly, so I might as well comment when I get the chance)...

Kurtiss' Desktop really caught my eye, for one-- I think Mario wallpapers work really well with your computer!

And as for Waitingforbrain's... I was looking at that for quite some time. Wow... talk about icons. How do you find things like that?

One thing I must ask-- Adr990 seems to have given his Windows desktop a brilliant theme. How? I always thought that you had to install a lot of software to do that.., did Windows 7 fix that? Or is it a hack? Either way, I'm going to have to look into making a theme with that kind of color scheme (and, of course, Link).

Nicnec7-- Where did you get that wallpaper? I really want it...

And of course, all the Mac pictures just look awesome. If there is one thing Apple can do, it's style.

Well, to keep in the spirit of things, I decided to post my desktop... IN 3D. To view it properly though, you'll need some 3D glasses... I have a 2D picture as well, so people without red/cyan glasses can see what my desktop looks like without eye-strain. Since these pictures are big, I decided to use Links...

As for Adr's desktop he's using WindowBlinds (or a similar program) you can have a custom theme without it but you won't be able to have it look like glass, if you know what I mean.

To have custom themes without a program you need to patch uxtheme.dll here: Download Uxtheme Multi-patcher 7.1 Free - This program will patch your theme engine files so you can use any 3rd party visual style - Softpedia

That works with Windows 7 too. Windows 7 is compatible with WindowBlinds as well.

Roger Dean... Awesome artist, though this is not his best work. Excuse the ****ty PC games and the presence of uTorrent and a pirated Sont Vegas copy... I forgot about this topic, but considering I have some new desktops I want to post (show-off?) I thought I'd bring it back up from the depths of the dead-threads.

1920x1200 is original resolution. Quick and dirtily resized in MS paint for the sake of this.

This is AS IS right now. I tidy it up every month so I'm due to do a tidy up in a about 4 days time.

I usually keep "fresh work" or stuff that I tend to distribute to others for lolsakes on the desktop for a little while, then determine at the end if they are worth keeping or just bin material.

This is half of my main PC desktop, the other half is completely empty as it is the one that goes on my main TV.

I have two other desktops as well. Too tired to post those ones now so night.

I'm sorry about this because I posted yesterday aswell but I wanted to share so... I was playing Majoras Mask earlier on the Wii and for some reason had a creative burst on my desktop so in Paint.Net made six images and saved them in order, setting the wallpaper in windows 7 so that it automaticly changes every 12 hours
So at the moment it's...

Oh hey, I'm reviving this thread with my new desktop.



All of my icons are in the Start menu. Yeah, there's nothing but a wallpaper on the desktop. Also, it's Windows 7, even if it uses the old-school style.

now if anyone actually knows one of two things about computers and macs they would know that this isn't an ordinary mac. I'm not really a Mac only guy, it's ironic, I have a great personally built PC, and I use Mac OS X on it more than windows, but on my MacBook Pro, I use windows all the time.

Yh don't buy a mac, well if you are going to buy a Mac then the 27inch iMac is a great value for money, You can make an i7 iMac for ?1800 but sure it won't be powerful as a desktop tower i7 but the fact there are hardly any 2560X1440 monitors (well in UK) that have the elegance design as this and are LED back-lit. and they do cost about ?900 on they're own, which when then again the standalone LED cinema display looks a better price promise, and the fact AMD cards have mini display port.

Anyway got side tracked. No OS is better and I am loving Windows 8 (even though it crashes on me, which is expected as a dev preview).
