I don't think Nintendo will just give out 3DS' release date and prices and that's it, in order for Nintendo show progress for 3DS on the 29th September, I think that Nintendo will also feature direct-feed trailers and footage from all the upcoming 3DS games, which are going to be the launch titles.

We'll most probably will see Kid Icarus' gameplay, Paper Mario trailer, Mario Kart trailer, ect, and also, officially from Ono, he said that he'll show gameplay of Street Fighter IV 3DS on the 29th! Since from Capcom, maybe we'll finally going to watch a gameplay of Resident Evil: Revelations.

I think you misread the original post.

In terms of what we'll see, I think Nintendo will focus mostly on the new OS rather than the games themselves. We might see what games are bundled with the 3DS, but I expect we'll get a closer look at CrossPass, 3DSWare, and any other part of Nintendo's digital distribution plans.

Yeah, and if demos in store were available BEFORE the release. And I hope they have a better final design---I don't quite like how the 3DS looks so blocky and the bottom half of it is made of 2 pieces. Asking for trouble there I think.

The clunky look is soooo good, looks so premium.

MIGHT is an understatement. IF they release it in November...well, just a couple days after the 29th is October. What we see at the glorious 29th unveiling will probably be final.

Release date. Price. Menu. Internal goodies. Bundled game? CrossPass. Specs. New game trailers and info. Oh dear lord I'm excited

Imo, the 3DS LOOKS clunky (but its not) the two tone colour is the problem. I think they will make it all black, or all blue or all red lol.
As for what we can expect:
-OS Shown off
- Trailers of Kid Icarus Uprising, Mario Kart + more
- Online talked about
- What the box comes with, colour availability
-Specs confirmation

That's it. Don't expect a whole lot of stuff.

So it only looks clunky to me because it's 2 tones on the bottom piece of the 3DS, not because the bottom piece is actually made of 2 separate pieces?

Ah no wait, I just looked at some pics of the 3DS on Google. The bottom is definitely 2 pieces put together. I wish they did it he way they did with the recent DS models.

Like stated previously, the top needs to be black to enhance the 3D.

Nonono, that I'm fine with. What I was talking about was the bottom of the 3DS, not talking about the top half. The bottom half of the 3DS looks like it's 2 pieces of plastic/metal/whatever put together. And that doesn't look ultra durable to me.

They for sure are going to show more than the release date and price. Otherwise the event would be like this:

"Hello from Nintendo! Here is our new Nintendo 3DS set to release November 22nd worldwide for $229 USD in America and 22,000 YEN in Japan."

"Welp... thanks for coming."

I know whatcha mean. I'm not diggin' the blocky/clunky style. I'd prefer the simple DSi approach. I really like the design for the DSi. Rounded rectangle edges. Pretty much just a block. I want a block not a sandwich.

YES! FINALLY somebody who's thinking what I'm thinking!

I'm hoping they'll release release dates (Nintendo likes making us wait, huh?) for all regions, after which my hype for Sept. 29th will move over to whatever the release date is. Then they'll talk about 3DS OS, and all the features it holds. They might show hardware, or at the very least say IGN is wrong (unless they're right). I think IGN is wrong mainly because in one of they're articles after their hardware one they said the conference will announce the REAL (keyword real) specs at the conference. Finally, I'm hoping the 3DS will launch with either a couple tech demos or a full-out game like Kid Icarus or LoZ OoT. Plus the 3DS will support DLC so it doesn't have to be perfect, so they can just patch it afterwards. ;D

Added after 3 minutes:

Oh, also remember guys Nintendo had to make a lot of 3DS's for E3 and then get rid of them afterwards, so it's probably not as good as the real thing. Just think about it, why pay all that money for something that's only going to be showcased for like 3 days then either put in stores as demos or dumped in the trash. (Where some hobo will be the first person to get a 3DS, and he'll sell it online for $100000 dollars and get rich.)
