Default I dropped my 3DS ; It's Hinge Broken and Wont Turn ON!!

Okay so I dropped my DS PRETTY hard and The right Corner got Broken. it looks EXACTLY like the one in this photo

i.ytimg . com/vi/nEh1BS6bOi8/maxresdefault.jpg

The other side of the screen is loose, but not broken. If i pull it, I will be able to see the wires.

When I try to turn it on, the blue light on the bottom right of the device will turn on for 5 seconds then turn off. The DS will not open.

PLEASE help me, I don't want to take it to repairs before trying everything i could. What's wrong with it?! Is it just the screen, or something more!!!?!? I'm prepared to fix it myself

My 3DS XL broke in the same way, except that it still works.

One thing you could try, though I doubt it will work is booting the 3DS in recovery mode by holding A+R+L+Up(DPad) when turning it on.

If I had to guess, one of the ribbon cables in the 3DS got loose from the impact.
iFixit has a lot of guides on how to disassemble a 3DS, though it sounds pretty hard to me. Here's one:
