Default Kirby and the Rainbow Curse | Angry Eyebrows Not Included

This game looks cute as heck and is a proper sequel to Canvas Curse which was the first DS game I ever played.

Toys "R" Us offers a free Kirby amiibo with a pre-order so if you're into that get it.

I'll stick with Dreamland or Adventure. I respect the art style but I don't like the look of the game play.

It is adorable and I love it. It seems waaay too simple though and I don't like the fact that you have to stare at the ****ty gamepad screen all the time

I'd consider it but all the money I have right now is for PAX.

100%ed the story mode today. All things considered, I don't think it's quite as refined a game a lot of other Kirby titles, Canvas Curse included (pacing is a bit off with levels that are too long, a bit claustrophobic thanks to extremely frequent one-way floors, some treasure chests are rather frustrating), but I really enjoyed it.

The game is fun in and of itself, but it's the sort of game where the presentation really makes it special. Obviously the visuals are incredible, but the way everything animates, the fantastic music, all the nods to past Kirby games, and even the charming figure descriptions and diary entries are why I liked it so much. There's a lot of care put into the game. But I wouldn't say it's for everyone.

It took my 11 hours to 100% the main story, with probably 2-4 hours spent just sitting on the menu and listening to music. So if that doesn't sound $40 worthy to you, then yeah, maybe not the game for you. If you don't care about side content or collectibles, then you probably won't have as much fun as I did either.

I got 100% in the story mode too and my thoughts are similar.

The past few kirby games have felt light on content.
