Haha, maybe. At least we are getting BD:FF before you Americans!

Also thank you Nintendo for the wonderful region locking, and that US exclusive limited edition that us Europeans cannot get.

Damn, I was about to go and buy Awakening when I found out this game would be coming out in two weeks!

Now I can't decide between these two... Please help me.

Good point - I always miss out on first-print goodies. And I doubt Awakening will ever go out of print like SMT could.
That was a pretty easy decision

I just discovered it.

"Future Shop will be having an E3 2013 promotion that grants you 3 games for $20 off (each). While E3 is going on, between June 10 and June 13, you will be able to pre-order three games of your choice"

I see that they do not ship to France, so... no regrets. :P

Atlus's preorder bonus strategy is so genius because it forces every Atlus fan to buy every Atlus game at full launch price.

I think Awakening will go out of print.

Every FE game has been very hard to get unless you got it on launch.

Is there going to be a demo for this before it is released? I feel like I read somewhere that there was going to be a demo, but I'm not positive.

I recently picked up Persona 4, and I'm loving it. From what I gather about this series, it's quite similar (not surprising, given that Persona is a spin-off). I'm guessing SMT is more RPG, and less Simulator? In any event, the story sounds interesting, and it is using the Press Turn system, which I like. Still really wanna try it out first though.

I have it pre-ordered and am so excited, I can't wait. I've never played a SMT title before but a co-worker of mine is a huge fan of the series and has gotten me really interested in it.

Huh, I would've thought the series had a longer shelf life because of its success. If worse comes to worse, there's always the digital version. Thanks for letting me know.

I usually see Fire Emblem games on the shelves for at least a year after launch, it is a Nintendo first-party after all. Atlus, however, is known for short printings and some games can become very rare, very fast. I mean, if they set the price of SMT:IV to $50 because it likely will only sell to fans, they won't be having very many printings.

I know it is first party, and that is why it's weird they are so hard to get. Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn sell for about $60-$100 each. I got RD before Christmas new for 20 though, and now they are very expensive.
