Smile Mario Maker for 3DS?

Mario maker on the wii U looks amazing! I personally think it would be more enjoyable on a 3DS, the idea of a 3DS version has been dicussed already

I would luv the ability to build a level then swap between gameboy and 3ds graphics, as the wiiu version does with NES and wii u graphics

Thoughts on a 3DS version?

I think a 3DS version of Mario Maker would be great. It definitely feels like a game that's well suited for some quick play sessions. Creating and playing custom stages is a great time waster. Plus 3D could mean for some interesting stuff, like multiple layers in stages, either in visual or in playable form.

When I first saw the trailer at e3 I thought it was for 3DS until they said it was gonna be a Wii U download. I think I would find more use for it on the 3DS, but we'll see.

The Wii U needs the extra sales at the moment.

I'm kind of surprised that Mario Maker isn't coming to 3DS. Just makes sense you know? And yes Wii U needs more focus, but Nintendo can't ignore the 3DS now either.

It may eventually come to 3DS, similarly to how NES Remix did. It would probably require a bit more work than that though, so I imagine they'd only bother if it sells well on the Wii U first.

I haven't been so excited about something in a LONG time so I'm really hoping we'll get it for the 3DS as it probably won't be until sometime in 2016 before I get a Wii U. Although Mario Maker might not be launched for the 3DS until then either lol.

This is a pretty good idea and it makes sense too. Not like Super Mario Maker looks that console intensive. Do it, Ninty!

Mario Maker looks great but what we need, I think, is Metroid Maker.
