So i know that OoT isnt a game that could be compared to any other, but i was wondering if there are any that come close to it. i want to get more into these kind of games. anybody have any suggestions? also i dont mean to sound noobish but what kind of title on Oot's gameplay could you put on it? (e.g: rpg?)

i sure have, sunshine is one of my favorites. i saw videos on youtube about starfox adventures. ive never played it but it looks like they used Oot as a template well from what i saw. ive never played it.

Err, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time isn't an RPG, it's in the adventure/puzzle genre.
Anyway, other 3D games in the franchise work just as well. I recommend the following:
Legend of Zelda: Windwaker
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Super Mario Sunshine
Starfox Adventures
Super Mario 64

ive played all of these except for starfox. i didnt get a chance to play skyward sword as much because my brother bought it and he moved back home a few days ago :-/

Banjo kazooie i would say, its more like mario 64 kind of game tho.

Okami and Okamiden, they're great and people say it has a similarity to Zelda. Also you can check games like FFCC: Echoes of Time and FFCC: Ring of Fates, they're Action RPG's but run similar (real time fights and puzzles solving).
