So, not exactly sure if this is common knowledge or anything, but, there is a way to skip the wall portion. I got really annoyed with it, so I turned around and saw the recovery heart platform. I tried to hookshot to it, but it didn't work. I tried it again-but kept my hands ever so still, and let go, it took a few tries, but I eventually got it and zipped up to the platform. I just then walked over with the boots and bam. Skipped the entire thing.

Funny, right? I tried it when I first got there and it wasn't hard to do. I wonder if it was possible in the GameCube version? Probably, they didn't change much, gameplay-wise. lol.
