My cousin went on and on about Dark Link was impossibly hard, harder than the final boss... Then I just went against him and honestly the Final Boss in Water Temple was harder than him...
Did they weaken him from the original version?

i donno, i haven't got that far in 3ds version (only to fire temple) but I beat the game on the 64 and can't remember if shadow link was hard to beat

He's really only hard if you use conventional attacks. (Like mashing B like its Mario Party) If you mix it up, he's easy.

Hookshot + Din's Fire + Occasional Sword / Hammer Swing = Success.

Really i just bashed him with the hammer a couple of times....easy win

I didn't even know he was a boss. I honestly just thought he was some random enemy that only comes out once for some reason. He was too easy and they didn't even mention his name. :P

Considered a mini-boss. They have special music when you fight them.

I never played the N64 version but Dark Link was hella easy on OOT3D

They had to make it easier for casual gamers.

How do you know they actually made it easier?
